I dunno what's going on... you're showing in my PSN friends, but not on my list of people to send gifts to. Let me restart my ps3 and see if that fixes whatever error is happening.

Quit game or go to main menu. Same happened to me.

when you just add someone you do need to leave GT Mode and enter again so the connection with the server is re-established and new friends are available in the comunnity tab.

Yeah, I had already quit the game and went back in after he approved the FR, but he still wasn't showing up. That's when I decided to restart it.

Yep That's it, I had to quit GT Mode twice too last time I wanted to send something to a new friend.
