My point is that the imaginary cars mentioned were just mock up "2015 Edition" version of cars that already exist, so having the existing ones and not the mock up would better.

How do you know? Have you driven them both? In theory, the newer ones would offer a more well rounded driving experience, faster lap times, and up to date styling.
