hi..
i have heard the performances for evo 7's go (from best to worst)

evo7 prototype rally car > evo7 rs > evo7 gsr

is this true that
prototype being the best in performance?

if so, why would that be?
wont the rs be more superior because of its higher (significant) hp?

plz reply and help me thx.. :)

Welcome to GTPlanet, de2es. Enjoy your stay with us.

The Evo VII rally car is a purpose-built race car, meaning it is lighter, more powerful, and has a better transmission and suspension than the street versions. The rally car prototype has more horsepower and MUCH more torque than the other two:

Evo VII Rally: 301 hp, 369 ft-lb torque, 1230 kg
Evo VII RS: 280 hp, 282 ft-lb torque, 1320 kg
Evo VII GSR: 280 hp, 282 ft-lb torque, 1400 kg

The RS models of each Evo are a little lighter than the GSR models, because in real life the RS cars have fewer luxuries than the GSRs. Therefore the RS models are slightly faster than the GSRs.

I hope this helps.

I don't bother,I don't drive with this crap anyway.

What's that got to do with it? If you don't drive this crap, what crap do you drive?
I can tell you there's much more out there that is crappier than an Evo...

How crappy can they be? The WRC cars (the Prototype looking like one) have enormous torque for a 4 cyl, DESPITE intake restrictors.
Our V8 supercars run something like 600 HP and weigh about 1200kg. They're fast.
I heard about a Subaru WRC doing a lap on one of our race tracks. He drove on the grass on the outside of the track, and clocked a time FASTER than the V8's on the track!

Crap that crap! ;)

On topic, though, remember that the prototype has downforce, racing parts etc. It'll eat the road versions in general, although they "might" keep up on a straight.
Stock standard, the prototype has a 6 speed box as opposed (I think) to a 5 speeder in the road cars. That will give it even better acceleration.

As for the road cars, even 80kg can make a huge difference in handling - like 1 or 2 seconds per lap minimum...

I personally like the rs. I think the evo 6 rs was my favorite. But what are you bothering with evos for? why don't you go the real rally route, with subarus. The 22B is much better than any evo and I won't even bother mentioning the impreza LM. Rant rant rant rant rant.

Recently I bought the GSR, fully tuned it makes for a fun drive around pretty much any track. I was expecting massive understeer, right now I got to say I'm quite taken with it.
I might try the RS sometime in the future.

i really like the evos., but in my opinion, i say the prototype rally car rules the evos, because of performance, also its just fun to drive, its so stable....

I use the Peugeot 206 Rally Car.

Done me well so far, I've got three rally races to go by just using it.

Personally, I don't use any of the Evos. Main reason being (yes I'll get abused for this..), I don't like the look of 'em. Evos from 6 onwards are ok, anything else doesn't look too good.

The Evo 7 is quite nice actually. I might use it some time. Just need to find the time to tune one.
