Wonder it this will be in GT4 at all. 💡

There is no such thing as an Evo X (10).....especially since we're still on Evo VIII (8). You skipped IX (9).

Beg to differ but confirmed production work was show at a recent press conference in Japan an HQ for Mitsubishi.
This was shown and only a few press heads managed a picture.

This is touted as a concept car, but a insiders in the firm are saying that it is a near approved final model.

MMmmm..Don't know how reliabel this info is... But I believe it is real.
But my opinion of it...it looks like they used a basking shark as the base for the front.

Not made up as this is from Auto Express (3rd time) so belive this to be true, although a long time away (2007 to be precise)
it will have over 320bhp and 431Nm of torque, the Evo IX will be released next year but based on the current Lancer platform.

I can believe it, but it's most likely a concept sketch sent out my Mitsibushi or could be an artist impression. The yellow Evolution is most likely the 9.

I saw that article in AutoExpress the other day. So it is real.
I'm not sure it will make it into GT4 somehow. PD normally only include concepts that are further down the road in design. Take the 350z and RX-8, both were in GT3 and both ended up looking just like they did in the game.

However I don't always trust AutoExpress. They made up a story about the new top of the line mk5 Golf R32, which in fact was just a picture of a mk5 Golf GTI they had photoshopped in blue. On top of that VW had said there next top of the line Golf will be the R36 and not another R32. D'oh!

Yes - everyone should be aware that the Evo X is at least 2 years off production, so the best we're likely to see is an Evo IX concept car in GT4 if at all.

AutoExpress are notorious for Photoshopping images - this picture is, at the very best, an artist's impression and can in no way be taken as a realistic image of a car 2 years away from the roads.

They also once published a road test of a car which was still in development. And had no engine.

They published an "Exclusive Road Test" when the thing they had was a balsa mock up... which they then broke and Ford were not best pleased!!

That is definatly a photoshopped picture. And no, the yellow car below it is an Evo 8. So I highly doubt a made up car will make its way into GT4.

No doubt they commented on it's superb handling at top speed (0mph) and ease of jacking in case of puncture.
