Mix matte and gloss

Hi! Is it possible to have both gloss and matte decals on a car or does the decal texture tool changes all att once?

All at once. The only way to have both matte and gloss on a livery is to use one as the base paint and the other as decals.

Yes, but that doesn't solve my predicament. Some of the decals I want to use I want gloss, while I want the base colour of the car to be matte black. And I can cover the car in a matte black decal but then all other decals will also be matte..

I'm very sorry, but no matter how I twist my mind I fear that we come to the same result as @Cytoria and @Greycap : All decals change at once.

Not really sure what decal or sponsor you want to have glossy, but maybe masking (using negatives versions of your decal and "paint" under and around them) could help?

Otherwise you are in the bad situation to wait patiently for matte paint chips in the mileage exchange..
