HI all, does anyone have this game, i have got this on order from US since it was never released hear in Australia & i have played the demo & i like this game. I'm just asking what features are in the game & is it like other sports games like NHL.

Any feedback would be great.

Single player wise there are a few options:

Franchise: Fairly self explanatory, more in depth than a lot of other sports games this gen as there are more front office decisions and deciding who to call up/send down etc..

Road to the show: Basically a career mode, you start out in AA and work your way up to the bug leagues.

Online wise there is the standard 1 vs. 1, but it also supports league play.

It is probably the best baseball game I've played, right up there with MVP 2005. I sold mine a month or so back though.
 
Pitty you sold your copy, would have like to play a game. & this game looks so real compared to MBL 2K9 or whatever it's called.


BTW, can you create your own team & player like in NHL

I sucked at it so you would have won easily and MLB 2K# is a joke, I feel sad for anyone forced to play any game from that series.

You can create players, but you can't create teams. It does have all MLB, AAA and AA teams though so that should be plenty.

Maybe, not everyone is perfect, I'm currently still playing the demo until i get full game & my friend has beaten me a couple of times?

I have '09. Rented '10 but it didn't offer enough to warrant a purchase. I'll be picking '11 up. SCEA ticked me off when they disabled all online activities for '09 when '10 came out. Still have a sour taste in my mouth over that. I stopped playing the game last november, come this spring I went over to get the newest opening day rosters and nothing, online disabled. Had to wait til I think june for someone to make a roster.
 
This looks like a great game. I pulled the demo from the US store a while back and I'm liking what I see. I may buy this game before the new year as my copy of Triple Play 2000, is getting a little long in the tooth! 👍
