im a new member so i just thought id say hello to everyone :)
are there many australian members on here?
if so contact me
i have a question though
whats the go with purchasing wheels for your car in gt4?
can you only have one set?
in gt3 you could have a wide selection

Welcome to GTP, throttlehappy...

Have you checked out the Auto shop in GT4 yet? There is a large selection of wheels available, and you can fit them to most cars. Some cars, like LMP race cars etc., you can't change the wheels on, but most other cars you can.

My understanding of it is that, unlike in GT3 where you could buy loads of different sets and fit them to any car in your garage, you can only have one set of wheels fitted to any one car at a time... but if you want a new set, you just have to go to the Auto Shop and buy them... also, in the GT4 FAQ's (here , and stickied at the top of this forum), you'll find the 'Used Wheel List'...

As for the Australian community here at GTP, there are plenty of folks here from Australia, check this recent thread out... here

This way it's more realistic. (bla...)
Not really, you have infinite tires in both, but infinite wheels in only one. Real race teams have a wheel for every tire.
Besides, this is the exactly the situation where realism isn't good. It adds nothing to the experience or the gameplay to limit things it this way.

You have to get 100 posts. Or 150. One of the two, I can't remember any more...

Anyway, it's good to see another aussie on here 👍 (Rest of GTP moans....)
