So, for a long time i wanted to do something to refresh the career experience.
So this will be my first mod. Coming sometime in July hopefully, and based on what i think is the best Gran Turismo 2 experience until now:
The Gran Turismo 2 Plus mod by pez2k.
Nothing extreme at all, just changes to the career to add variety and reduce grinding for money.
To note that nothing too extreme can be done due to limits to the total number of events. And i don't want to change the game that much in regards to the GT league/Special Events. So new races will have to come at the cost of manufacturer races and/or Dirt Races.
What to Expect in regards to Manufacturer Races:
- More prize money on manufacturer events!
- also:
New manufacturer events are being put in place of repeated ones like the Vauxhall Tigra.
In other cases normal style events of less interesting cars are being replaced.
Some other existing events will be fused together (for instance Vitz and Starlet become one)
All in All there will be more manufacturers with events, and existing ones will also receive updates.
I won't spoil much but here's a sneak peak:
here you can see Starlet and Vitz become one single event, and Prius event is created, while MR-S event will now also accept MR-2 models
Race for AMG cars
In Regards to other Races:
Still unsure about this but...

- Some 5 lap races will increase to 10 laps.
- New 30/40min endurance races might be created
- Themed races like European V6, Road Rally race, concept car race
