Hey guyz i was wondering if anyone gots any model cars.....

right now i got a-

1.Maisto Die cast kmodel of o Mini Cooper (the new one)
2.Maisto Die Cast model of a :bmw: Z8
3.porsche 911
4.67 corvette (i customized by melting the suspension to lower it,and i put dodge sidewinder pickup truck tires on it :fdevil:)
5.i used to have a viper, but it fell off the shelf.... (thats why i like the die cast models better)

im starting to collect die cast ones, why??? well cause im too lazy to paint and glue etc......

I've got a rather large collection sealed up in packing boxes somewhere in the place - we were only planning to stay in this current rental place for 12 months so I haven't unpacked them.

There's a big mix of 1:43 and 1:18 stuff there - sedans and supercars from the late 80's early 90's (and a heap of R32 Skylines).

I build mine. The kind where u paint and glue ;)

So far I built a:
Corvette C5R
Porcshe GT1 Race Car
2000 Mustang Cobra
Shelby Series 1
And Challenger.

I have tons of them, mostly Maisto 1/18 scale, and I mod my models with other parts and stuff...when I was 5 I got my first several models, and so what better to do than "zoom" them on the ground...we some broke, unfixable, and so I salvaged them. I have a Mecedes S-Class(sedan)and I put the Diablo V12 in it, it all fits and everything. I also wire in nitrous(yea yea, it's dumb but hey). Switching tires, springs, adding muffler tips, all of it.

I have pics to proove my work if you'd like to see them...

Ohh btw, I have the same Mini...mine is red, the newest car in my collection, and I've added a muffler tip, painted(with a paint marker)the exuast shelds(the ruff part under the exaust system)silver, and added NOS(it's a blueish purple bottle, so it makes sense)and some other mods...

I hate Maisto cars. There are crap quality.

I prefer Bburago and Matchbox.

I have over 120 1:64 scale Matchbox cars (worth well over $100)
and i also have 8 1:24 scale Bburago cars. :)

I have a Holden V8 supercar (Murphy and Richards when they win the bathurst (however u spell it.)) I also have a Ferrari F40, Merc 500SL, Merc 4WD, Ferrari 348tb and a VT Coupe in gold and my dad has a Holden Torana GTR-XU1 in green.

Regards The Porko

wellmy dodge challenger i didnt metion or my

Dodge Ram VTS pickup (the one with the viper engine)

oh and a long time ago i took my peterbuilt semi, and put the engine into my dodge ram pickup.... (89)

does anyone have a maisto viper gts???

i would love to buy it......

Well, I like Maisto cause they cost less, and they are good quality and are easy to mod/fix, many parts interchangeable...and working suspension!

Here's the S-Class:

BTW, Dess, me and my bro have a pair of Maisto Vipers...mine is red and his is blue/white stripes...both beat up, mine runs thanks to some engineering and other parts...

Here's my Viper...the back of it, and yea that's the exuast...btw, I make exuast tips out of broken power antennas, they allow you to choose from about 5 different sizes and all...

Wheres a good place to get models like the ones you guys are talking about?

For Maisto cars, go to Toy's R Us, KB toys, Target(they just started carrying them, got an S2000 and my mini from target for only $16...)and some Wal-Marts...

Or go to exoticars.com , they carry all of them...

Are they hard to put together? I've never really put one together before by myself. I've always wanted to.

they are put together already...well sometimes you can find ones that you can put together, but I buy the ones that are together already...and the parts are snap together, and then the base goes on the body with screws...it's simple..

I don't have any models, but I was thinking very seriously about buyng a Viper one. I didn't want to paint it though...

i had to put together my :bmw: z8.......

and maz kid,a viper should ALWAYS have dual exhaust tips...

Cool.

Dess, I believe it's "Models for us poor, young, and lasy people"....I'd never do this stuff in real life cause, well, most is impossible and dumb...but it's fun in 1/18 scale...

ive got a chevelle street machine, 98 camaro, 69 oldsmobile 442 and 2 car, boat and trailer packs.

I've got a few rare-ish Scalextric cars, like the Biela Audi BTCC car and a Ceric Lamborghini Diablo Challenge car (with working headlights AND brake lights). The wife's got a 1/18 Minichamps Coulthard MP4/16 though.

Oh, and I've got a 1/18 Kyosho GP Landmax R/C car with a Subaru Impreza body.
