Rules:

-Editing -Levels, Curves, Colour Balance, Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation, cropping, or anything else capable in the development process or with filters and common special lenses are allowed to use in Photoshop or other image editing softwares. Other adjustments and effects are not allowed to be used in your picture. You may also use Unsharp Mask.

-Photographs must not be a 'snapshot' but must include some composition and effect - Base the photo on a studio shoot, or even use diorama/composition to create a realistic setting (you could position the model and camera in such a way in an outside setting so that it appears to be a 'real' car)

-No HDR shots

-Shots must be taken between January 2008 and the present day - exceptions can be made as long as the photograph has not been shown before the competition e.g. unposted work.

-Picture sizes - Must be no longer than 400px on the longest edge for the thumbnail image, (linked) full sized images must be no longer than 900px on the longest edge

-Deadline for each week will be 10pm GMT on a Wednesday, poll will be up by 10:30 pm GMT
-Voting will close on a Friday at 10:30pm GMT





The next competition will take place on Wednesday the 7th of July.

Must admit I'm struggling a bit for inspiration this week. I want to do something...new I guess. My original idea has had flaws due to the weather conditions not being exactly how I wanted. Hoping it's going to be sunny, or atleast drizzle tommorrow so I can come up with something.
 
I'm with him. I haven't been able to think of anything. I'll probably mess around in the morning and see what I can come up with.

Open as in you can enter whatever you like. Basically there is no theme.

Just noticed a huge cock up with my entry and I mean huge.
 
LOL yes thats the one. Why I tried to get a panaramic style picture with 3 pictures on the point and shoot Is beyond me, Should of just croped a single image.
I was quite happy with my effort now I hate It.

Lesson learned.

Mm. I just thought I'd mention that the image you linked to is the thumbnail, not the full-size. In case you want to fix it.

Canon EOS 20D - totally wrong lense, no tripod and 10sec exposure!! d'oh.​


The pic is supposed to represent the car racing at dusk in the Britcar 24 hr which it won! One of my favourite models :)

Very rushed because of the deadline is NOW! Totally wrong set-up on my camera.. I think it would have work better with my cheapo compact... full camera settings here

I know, I was...you know...going to do it. But I was called away suddenly. A "OH BY THE WAY WE'RE PICKING YOU UP AT 7 TO HEAD UP FOR THAT WEEKEND WE TALKED ABOUT BUT NEVER SPECIFIED THE DATE FOR." *glances at watch*. IT SAYS 5:30. Haven't had dinner - still helping to make it, need a shower... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
