Moderators need to be online at least twice a week, don't they? I noticed that Phil moderated the motorsport section, and he hasn't been on in ages. So here is my suggestion:

I reckon Jordan should take away Phil's moderator priviledges, and give it to someone who's online more often, someone like, for example, vat_man.

This isn't out of dislike for the fellow, or anything he did, I just reckon a mod needs to be online more often.

How's it sound?

Phil is really busy with his job to my understanding.

Nice advertisements in your sig.

I'm still in touch with Phil via email, he just doesn't have much time to visit the forums. And, since the motorsports forum doesn't really attract many troublemakers (past anything either myself or super moderators can't handle), I don't see any urgency for a new moderator there.

vat_man's moderatorship has been in my head for a long time now, but now that you mention it, it probably would be a good place for him to start out. :)

That is, if he accepts. I imagine he's a bit like myself.

Ooh - methinks I will need a little ponder about that, and an idea of what's involved. I'm not immediately averse to the idea though.

Vat_man I had a feeling you'd get a Moderator soon

Good on you mate, you should go for it if Jordan offers... You'd do a great job :star:

Yes I brought up the Phil deal a while back...I see jordan's resoning, but I think that mods should be on as much as the members, to be there just incase of problems, or just to keep things nice and neat. If anything, it would take wieght off of the supermods(like Jordan and Josh ect...)by allowing specific forum mods to take care of the problems within the forum(s) that they mod...

And I agree that Vat is an exellent mod candidate...

Hey Snoop :snoopy: quit picking fights with Vat_Man already :Poke:...

Or are you testing him too see if he could keep cool as a Moderator? :D

Nope, I'm just expressing my humble opinion.

Why do you think that?

Anyway, getting back to the subject, if Vat_man doesn't feel like being a Moderator do we have a back up, any suggestions?

DeliveratorTitan!!!!

Backup mod choice is Jordans and Jordan's alone, no need to nominate poeple for becoming a mod.

like Zero said, i think it's up to god (or Jordan) to decide who should administrate or moderate certain forum sections!
