COD Ghosts as the name was changed is expected to release on a Tuesday, like any other Call of Duty. This thread is all about what you want or think is going to be in the game. It is also a wishlist for DLC, titles, emblems, etc. Well, the whole thread is anything having to do with Call of Duty Ghosts. It wouldn't hurt to put a few details/leaks if you find some. :) Make sure it is legitimate!

I thought MW3 was the last one? Hm..

Well, I'd like to see individual killstreaks per class return as well as Support/Assault/Specialist streaks.
Basically, bring back MW3's killstreak system. I liked it. 👍
 
I've always enjoyed the MW series' storyline more as I can't seem to follow what went on through Black Ops 1 despite completing it 4 times and have no motivation to carry on with Black Ops 2 because I'm still confused from 1.

I'm hoping that for multiplayer the MP5 returns after it wasn't there in Black Ops 2. Also bigger more open maps like Afghan from MW2, at the moment the maps have too much clutter which looks like it was placed there as an afterthought. Hopefully they go back to the traditional way of unlocking equipment by levelling up rather than needing to go to max prestige if you want everything unlocked at once.

On the topic of MW4 though, I think they'll screw it up like they did with MW3.
MW3 was utterly rubbish, and so was BO2, and I don't see any changes being made for the better.

If they bring back the gameplay and server setup CoD4 had, then i'll be more than happy to get it.

For now, im not getting MW4 (or whatever name it'll get).

One thing the Modern Warfare series was good at on the 3 titles was the singleplayer campaign. Loved that! 👍
 
I thought they ended the MW series after killing Makarov at the end of the last game but apparently not
 
I think I'm done with COD now whatever the next one is called, I can't see where they can take it, or how they change it enough from previous game to make me want to buy it. They are all so similar now that I have lost faith in the franchise to produce something original and exciting. I have wasted £80 on games I barely play (Black Ops 2, and MW3) and I'm not going to waste another £40.

World at War was and still is my favourite COD by a long way, because unlike the others it was original. It was a little buggy but the maps were fantastic, likewise the gameplay, online was awesome, and above all it had zombies. It was inventive. The CODs since weren't, MW2 was fun for a little while.

They have completely lost my trust with very lacklustre titles, all the same as the last, with crappy spawn systems, crap maps, the same old guns, same old everything.

This guy got a sneak peak of people working on it. Rumor has it Neversoft is developing the new MW4.

I really think after B.O. 2 I'll stick with BF3. I thought MW3 was bad... But B.O. 2 is terrible. CoD in general is just so overrated so i'll stick with Battlefield titles. I will not waste money on another CoD. Considering they are basically the same thing every game

I think they change. The feel always feels different when I play all types of CoDs. Especially Modern Warfare 2. Not everyone feels the same about the series, though.

I'm on the same boat as you but I think it went downhill after mw2. B.O.1 was just downright horrid IMHO. MW3 was slightly better then the first black ops but still bad. After my bad experience with MW3 and B.O.1, I won't be buying another C.o.D game until they make huge changes with the multiplayer.

I've played since COD4. They are all very different, IMO. MW3 has the smallest average map size of any COD, for example, and the spawn points are pretty ridiculous.
 
World at War was pretty epic. That's probably the only CoD I liked after Cod4. It would be nice if the next CoD would be set at WW2 again.
 
If only CoD balanced their guns a little...or a lot. Every time I hop on BO2 and I QS, POOF x2 as quick as I could aim. Either they are hacking or they have nothing better to do except play CoD. It gets way to annoying! :( :scared:
 
May or may not be associated with MW4, but this is Activision's new engine at work. PC/GTX 680 running at 180fps.

And agreed with people giving up on COD ,haven't played one since black ops,only battlefield 3

Same here. I have not purchased a COD game since WAW. I think that was the last good COD game created. I have been renting the COD games since then and its really just the same thing over and over again. I don't know how people can buy that game every single year. To each his own. But I prefer BF3 by a longshot. I also prefer games with vehicles so that's one reason I don't like COD very much. But the main reason I don't like COD is the insane spawn killing with that series. My brother bought me BO2 for Christmas and I tried it again over the weekend. Had a couple ok games then we got onto some map where our entire team was spawn killed over and over again. The series is just not for me. Especially with no co-op campaign, no vehicles, and just too much spawn killing. I will stick to BF3 and Halo 4.

Most fun I've ever had with a video game.

If all else fails, Wasteland, Favela, Highrise and Scrapyard must return.

EDIT: Nevermind. That trailer looks like complete poo-poo. I play COD for the military-esque image, not Resident Evil-ey characters.

This is exactly what i want, I only bought a ps3 because of MW1 wich says a lot because i dont like fps as they make me nauseus but mw caused no such problems,

All i want is mw1-2 but with new maps and no stupid QS or teleporting knives.
 
One of the worst teaser trailers I have seen for a game in a while. I really have almost 0% interest in this game. Especially since its by IW. I will rent it like the others but I just have no interest in these COD games anymore.
 
Watched most of the multiplayer reveal and was surprised, they've done a lot more than I thought they would have done. The new Cranked game mode doesn't interest me at all but I can see it being a popular mode, Search and Rescue looks like a very good idea and should be fun to play. Only thing I'm disappointed about is that Hardpoint doesn't seem to make an appearance on the list where they have game modes.

I like that they've added more features for clans, such as clan matchmaking, and added clan wars as well as some more interesting unlocks from clan progress than what we have in BO2 and MW3.

Some notes to add on to this
-You can turn Invisble but you cannot kill anybody
-No pro perks. It seems to be all the MW3 perks and pro perks are each individual perk
-Perks Have points. You get 8 points if you have a secondary, 11 without a secondary
-UAV is on the ground
-Adding to the weapon picture: L115 (Sniper), SVU (Sniper), P226 (Handgun) Kriss (SMG), .44 Magnum? (Handgun)
-Last Stand returns
-It seems that all Lethal and Tactical Grenades cost 5 Squad Points.
-Some of the attachments: FMJ, Extended Mags, Fore grip, Grenade Launcher, Red Dot Sight, ACOG, EOD Tech Sight, Under barrel Shotgun?, 2 unknown
-Strike packages return
