I'm checking on potential interest of a racing series that comprises of modified mini-stock cars. Mass production cars stripped with a roll cage for low cost racing. I'm primarily aiming at 4-6 cylinder engine sizes. I'd work on homogenization of the entry vehicles, but leave the opportunity open for many makes, models, and years of vehicles as long as they meet criteria.

Some of the rough guidelines that may change based on interest and/or feedback:

-Comfort tires
-Unlimited Transmission and Suspension modifications
-Minimum weight 1000kg
-Depending on homogenization: Approx. 2.2cc's/kg
-Horsepower/PP limit TBD
-No RR, 4WD drivetrains

Race times would be potentially be variable depending on those who enter. Heat racing may be possible with enough entrants.

I plan on developing prizes for this. I will be organizing and overseeing this, but will not be participating in the racing.

Any feedback and ideas welcome. Great ideas will be added to this post as we go. If you're interested I'll include you in a PM when things may start.

Would you like to help me get weekly grass routes racing started and keep track of peoples points and figure out what cars should be aloud and what shouldn't be

I have a fairly busy schedule... but tell me what you have. I say that because I don't want to get 2 going at once. Do you have any ideas yet? This Mini-Stock is entry level grass roots(usually). We may be on the same page, here. :)

im thinking like dirt or asphalt racing on local short tracks i would use daytona for the track so i already have an idea and i agree i think we are on the same page correct

It would mainly be on established tracks, shorter tracks mostly. I wouldn't count out a trip to the full 'Ring, though. I suppose a place like Toscana (dirt) wouldn't be out of the question.

I'm doing Saturday night racing if anyone wants to join me the room number is 1472-6118-3701-4258-4731
