On average, about 85 of you read about our races each day!

Why not actually race with us?

You won't get bruised and abused as you will in the open Sport races. We have all kinds of different talents and abilities, so you will fit right in. Our settings and combinations are designed to help you become better drivers, too.

What do you say?

Next Monday will highlight the main purpose that we run our events - to help our drivers to get better, to be more confident, to improve their skills, to have serious fun.

The races with the next car, the Maverick with gobs of power, will challenge you. You will need to stay calm and collected, you will need to pay attention, you will want to apply your best driving skills. All tracks offer lots of repetition, one of the best teaching tools that exist. Each track offers its own challenges, whether walls, traps, penalty zones, elevation changes, difficult curves including blind corners, difficult braking zones, acceleration zones that require patience.

Seriously. Wanna race?

If you race cleanly and want to race on-line tonight, without GT7 kicking you off-line, then find our lobby. 😉

You need the VW GTI Roadster VGT with Sport Hard tires.

Monday Night Racing

December 15 @ 7:30 P.M. Eastern

Car: Ferrari 296 GTB 2022, HP = 818, 3241 lbs, Tires = Sport Soft, (Target PP = 722.10)

Add the Fully Customizable Suspension, Differential, Manual Transmission.

Ferrari_29_GTB_2022_Calle_Fenice.jpg

Sardegna B Reverse (Counter-clockwise), Tires = 6X Fuel = 4X, (11)
Laguna Seca, Tires = 6X Fuel = 4X, (11)

The weight-shift of the 296 is horrendous and difficult to tune out with stiffness without causing other issues. The Differential causes loss of control during downshifts without adding acceleration to moderate it. Please practice!

Monday Night Racing was set up as a safe environment where we can all improve our driving among other on-line drivers. Sure, these aren't easy challenges, but they are as fair as GT allows and they are certainly doable even by beginner GT drivers.

However, between 45-50 GTP readers, including you, view our events every single day... yet we still have room in our lobbies.

What am I missing? What will it take for you to join us Monday nights?

I would love to hear from you.

Monday Night Racing

December 15 @ 7:30 P.M. Eastern

Car: Ferrari 296 GT3 2023, 599 HP, 2822 lbs, Tires = Racing Hard, (Default DF PP = 743.81)

Add the Racing Transmission.

Ferrari_296_GT3_2023_Shirakawa.jpg

Tracks & Conditions, (Laps)
Streets of Willow (Clockwise), Tires = 8X Fuel = 7X*, (14)
Red Bull Ring FC, Tires = 8X* Fuel = 5X*, (10)
Tokyo East Clockwise, Tires = 8X Fuel = 3X, (10)

It is difficult to judge fuel usage because of short-shifting. It can save a lot of fuel. That doesn't mean that the rest of the racing will be easy, though. Please practice.

The next MNR will be a special, 5th Monday Special Event done in our first true Circuit Experience format!

A 1-hour race on each of the two new tracks, with a healthy break between the races. The two cars are chosen primarily for their weight, since weight and repetition re-enforce the learning environment. One car is AWD. Both races will likely last ~30 laps. If you want to speed up learning these tracks, then be sure to join us.

I recommend practicing against the AI cars because we don't want to have to restart any of these races as a result of someone's carelessness. They have a few special treats for you, too. There will be a 15-minute break after the first race and to be a warm-up period for the second race.

Think of MNR races as challenges designed to make us think. The upcoming races will be more training sessions for getting acquainted with GT7's two new tracks.

And the cars? Loads of fun! The BMW has 8.6 lbs per HP, but the Chiron has less than 3! It is a monster, but a friendly one when tuned.

MNR is serious fun each week, but that shouldn't scare anyone away. I love to see drivers rise to a challenge.

Hey, y'all! Wanna race?

The turkey and stuffing were delicious, your prezzies have been set aside, and New Year's isn't here yet.

What can you possibly do with yourself on a boring Monday Night? Watch TV reruns?

I know! Let's race for a whole hour on each of GT7'S two new tracks!

See you soon!
