Uh, you nailed it again. :odd: It is an NSX. You dont have to really belive me, I could care less. But yes, it was around 90k, and its still not paid for yet. By the way, shes a lawyer, you do the math. ;)
 
Well my mother drives a brand new Mclaren F1....on mondays..then on tuesdays she drives a V8 vantage....then on thursdays and sundays she drives her crappy car...Her 2003 Nismo GT-R skyline prototype

Wait... if your mother is a lawyer and she is rich... why dont you just buy a new car... like Evo or STI something like that... why are you looking for a used RX7 FD!? Also... why do you need to save... when your mom is a lawyer!? if my mom was a lawyer... youll see me rocking in an Evolution VIII :lol:
 
I dont like mooching off my mom. ;) And I want a rotary. And I dont like the RX-8's. So an RX-7 is the next best thing. Plus, look at'em. They're awesome looking.

HAHAHA, American import tuners are so funny, you guys will actually pay $95,000 for a Skyline GTR34 VSpec II. Yeah it's a car that's fast and cool but the same car sells for $40,000 over here fully loaded. My suggestion, if you are in the market for a hot import car, find a friend that's overseas (probably military) and ask him to find you the car that you want. Then, give him (or her) the money to buy it and all you'll pay is for the modifications to make it legal in the states. I can almost promise that you can get away with saving, at least, 5 grand on an RX-7 that way.



But that's just what I'd do.

Well put it this way.....When you register a car, what do they ask? Vin #'s....Never do they send people to your house to inspect the car...second......Emissions..........daamn easy to pass.....
The only thing I'd wory about are the front and rear block thingies that welded across the front and back of the car and covered with foam.......Other than that I don't see anything ILLEGAL about the car.....LHD and RHD doesn't matter.......the seat belts meet standards.....i don't really see much....I'm sure there's more than that and all....But I've never once encountered ANY police officer, or insurance company that sent someone down to inspect the vehicle inside and out.........I personally thing...12,000 dollars for a Detune and some welded on parts is fukkin rediculous

Just remember, don't get ripped off. Would you pay $20,000 for a 1992 Camaro, stock. No, I wouldn't and Camaro's are my favorite car. Even, if it were in new condition. So don't pay that much for an R32! Just remember that the R series of Skyline doesn't so much specify a model as it does a generation. Just like with American cars, Japanese cars, the Skyline in this case, have generations:

1st gen 1957-1963 Skyline (ALSI)
2nd gen 1963-1968 Skyline (S50)
2nd Gen Skyline 1963-1968 (C10)
3rd gen skyline 1968-1972 (C20)
4th gen skyline 1972-1977 (C110)
5th gen skyline 1977-1981 (C210)
6th gen skyline 1981-1985 (R30)
7th Gen Skyline 1985-1989 (R31)
8th Gen Skyline 1989-1993 (R32)
9th Gen skyline 1993-1998(R33)
10th gen skyline 1998-present (R34)
11th Gen Skyline (V35)

Just try not to get ripped off, it only costs around 10,000 to get a R32 over to the states, so don't let some one charge you double just because they found it. If you want pictures of each of those models I can get those to you just so that you can verify which model you are looking for.

Hm. I just read that the Top Secret R34 (One of them, not sure which) has a Fairlady Z engine in it..Think its a bad idea? Its already pushing 600ps. :D
