What a damn shame. I was really rooting for these guys. What happened to them? I didn't think Tampa was that far ahead skill wise.

Because I'm from Montreal. I'm not allowed to root for Toronto, it's a tradition. I'll be rooting for Tampa, Calgary and San Jose, then.

I'm from Toronto and am supposed to hate Montreal, but I would have loved to have seen them go on. A Toronto/Montreal series would have been golden.

Umm.. Montreal didn't have a chance or a prayer against tampa. It's rather interesting how it seems Star players vs. playing as a team and old players vs. young players. Seems like the young and team play is winning? I'm actually the most afraid of Tampa right about now.

It sure is a shame! I really want the cup to return to where it belongs....Great White North. We deserve it!

The cup IS coming north, just not to the east. People in Toronto would know that if CBC got their heads out of their a**es and did a better job covering the west.

Who wants to watch a sweep in the second round, anyway?
