Monza 1st Corner in a Nutshell

I've been pretty steady at 99/99 SR S for a little while now, but man oh man, Monza is NOT the track to race when trying to preserve a high SR rating :D.

I made three attempts tonight. I got pole position in the first two, and 2nd on the third. Didn't manage a win, and there was some chaos in all three races, but the 1st corner ping pong in the third race was over the top. When watching the replay from the angle of the one who initiated it, I couldn't help but laughing, because lets face it, this is a bit comical from this point of view :D. Also because this is definitely not on purpose, the guy just tailgates the driver in front way too much and can't react to his braking point.

I'm the green Pantera up in 2nd place. Fell down to 11th in the first corner due to this, but managed to finish in 5th.

Really love this car, and it's actualy quite fun driving it around Monza (I like that track), but in Sport Mode ... :D

 
I had a race today on Monza with 8 out of 12 people not qualifying. Before the race I put in the chat "For all the non-qualifiers, breaking point for T1 is before the 200 marker" T1 went great :) Ofcourse next race was the usual mess.

I remember that saying in the chat box. I was in that race...what a mess. My SR & DR took a beating

Yeah, this is not a good track to race online for newbies. Especially when they don't clear their penalties at the end of the race. lol

I was just in one of these races, btw. I was in or near last place when at the end, I found myself shot up to 1st place when I finished. All of the E-rated drivers didn't clear their penalties. At all. And I was the only one, driver ranked D, who didn't have a penalty at the end still.

It was freaking hilarious. XD
