More GT5 Features found. Now with proof.

For me there is absoulutly nothing Special in it.

The GT5 P Secret Menu was Special Because you could unlock tracks which were not avaible normally.

Kiro the Problem is that you cant really change the strength of the AI, i think there is a option between 100 and 500 pp ... But you cant change the AI. ( you could take a car and then you could create a event , give the AI Faster Cars ... That would be a option to "change" the strength of the AI)

Btw i don't think you need it xD. Pics and cruising is more likely for you, isnt it?

Iam still waiting for Nitro proof !

If I recall, I don't think you could actually race on the hidden tracks that were in GT5 Prologue?

^^ You couldnt.

Except the secret menu basically contains an event creator, another feature which has been badly wanted since the game's release.

Yea chances of a more user friendly version wouldnt surprise me if it was included in the next GT.At first I thought your opponents would only be in arcade mode until I did the Supercar Nostalgia Cup and I was racing super gt cars :)

Changing the line up in arcade races woukd be good to make some great races.

Yea, I tried that.

Picked cars within a certain range (445PP to 455PP) and unfortunatly there was ALWAYS a rabit on the track who could get up to 4 seconds ahead of the A.I. in 2nd place...

Even if it was a car with a supposed lower PP than the rest of the platoon.
I guess it's just the way PD coded the A.I., whitch sucks and makes racing not fun at all.

The A.I. Was programed to drive like a real racer would, meaning they will drive conservative for the most part to stay alive and to conserve fuel and tires. Where as we dont have to care if we plow a wall at 250mph we just restart the race and all is good. We don't have the need to worry about limits so we without thinking will push and even break our limits to win.

Part of me wants to say these parts might be included in a future update.

But this game's been out for a couple of years now, so I doubt it.

Why don't the A.I. in 1st place drive in a conservative as well then?
Also, why do they do it even when it's just a single lap?

In my opinion, there's something wrong with their programming.

I added nitro 120 seconds but it just gets a permanent HP multiplier.

Hey MOTORTRENDmitch

Sent you a couple PMs would you mind taking a look at them. Thanks bro

I cant answer why they do it in a 1 lap setting or given different positions. I'm pointing out the fact that as gamers we are more likely to take risks that we wouldn't driving in real life and the AI is not programmed to account for that and it never has been.

I know what you mean, but given this situation, that doesn't make sense. GT5's A.I. is simply way to slow.

Just searching around this forum you can find situations such as the Daytona Pick-Ups race where the A.I. brakes unnecessarily, and of course, the "dodge the moving roadblocks and catch the rabit" seasonal events.

There are other games like rFactor, GTR2, or even and oldie like F1 Championship Edition, in which the A.I. doesn't behave like that.

Much less having a rabit car which starts in front, somehow is much faster than the other cars, yet, it's in the exact same performance range. :grumpy:

In those other games, the A.I. is actualy fast and competitive.
One possible solution though, would be making the rest of the A.I.s on track behave the same as the rabit car, and add a qualification mode.

Maybe then, I would call it a proper racing game (given that PD could still screw it up somehow).

like i said nitro will not work there is no reason for me to post a screen shot of it installed because it is garbage

That can be either good or bad depending on how people look at it.

Someone should start a thread where you can request different races to be done to see what really wins.

To clarify, this was on NGU. A while ago. It requires modding/hacking as some of you would call it. It is not fully legitimate. It is also old.

Yeah... That will end your fun on GT5 in a heartbeat. Stay away from that...

4 caliper brakes work on most cars as well, part never shows up but confirmation in game installing, and brakes are bigger on all cars.

The brakes get bigger?!

There are different sizes of disc brakes for racing, smaller for limited braking tracks because they heat up so quickly. Larger size for tracks that require frequent braking.

That's in the real world though.

Not sure if this is normal or not, but I can't install the High-Rpm Turbo or Engine 4 and 5 on my F40. :odd:

Is this normal?

*Not asking how to fix it or whatnot, just curious to know if this is normal.
And what is the V for on the tires?

some cars will not take a ultra range some wont take a super. wither might work on a car or sometimes none will work.

stage 4+5 engine is the most difficult part of install and only works on a select few cars through GT5... HxD is a different story tho

It's so frustrating to see all of these extra features that SHOULD be in the damm game!!

Dammit!!
