Wow, I'm a little surprised to see actual constructive criticism of GT5. Normally I would expect one person to share a dissenting opinion followed by the GTFDL charging to GT5's rescue to flame and/or insist that there's no room for improvement here; that the game is perfect as-is. It's amazing to see so much honesty, at least thus far.
Yes, I've been feeling this from the day the game came out. Rewind/fastforward is just one of the ways I wished that PD would stop pretending that they've got all the right ideas and everyone else is retarded. I wished they would look at what some of the other guys like Turn 10 or Codemasters have been doing and take notes, because they've done some nifty stuff. Even if we don't want something like FM3's option to rewind during a race (though a useful assist for newbie players), at least being able to advance, skip, and rewind in replays is just common sense.
