More topics per page.

Whenever you go into any forum or even use the 'New Posts' button it only lists 20 results on a page. When you have been gone a few days and click new posts it is a pain in the ass to have 30 new pages to go through. Is there any way you can change it so it displays more topics at once? Say 50 or so.

Come on J-man, you're an awesome forum guy thingy leader person and just an option would be nice. Kind of a convienance thingy, not really a problem.

There is a bonus in it for ya too. Do it and I'll stop calling you the J-man. Wow, what a deal!

My GTPlanet>Edit Options> Scroll down and find Thread Display Options. Set it up however you wish.

I knew that. This was just a test. A test you passed. Congratulations.

Thanx anyway J-dogg.

*Edit* Hmm... I see the option for displaying more posts per page, but not one for showing more actual topics per page. Perhaps I am blind?

Maybe this'll help more.

That is so not what I mean.

You know how you can change your options so you can show more than 20 posts per page, well, I want to do the same thing but with threads.

Gah, I guess I'll have to bust out photoshop and make a mock up of what I mean and how it'd look.

I understand what you mean.

You want more than 20 threads displayed when you click the "new posts" button.

I'll have a look to see if I can see anything, the more eyes, the better, right? :)

So I guess this thread is going back to the original post then.

Can you set up an option to display more threads per page for us Jordan? Or are we stupid enough to not see it anywhere?

:p

I increased the search results page to 25 for you. There is a bug, I guess you could call it, in Internet Explorer, which will not show a table's contents before the closing </table> tag has been loaded. I didn't realise this while creating our current style (GTP6), and enclosed the entire page in a table. Therefore, long pages of 50 threads would slow down the delivery of those pages, in addition to the extra load on the server caused by generating all those thread statistics upon each page view.
