More Unpainted Cars!

Sorry it took me so long to get back. That first post was a bit rushed, but even talking on the phone with one hand and working with the other I managed to take a few quick shots of the car, host them, and put it up here. I've added more detail to the first post but to summerise. I have the NTSC (north american) game, I won it at the roadster endurance, and it is an RX-7 LM race car,

Either a beautiful Boat, beacuse thats how it feels, Or a Panda Car :P
Drove It Hated It.
Each To His own, Got to admit the S200 Titan R1 Is a beast, The best Drive There,
and with Carbon i'd reccomend it,

If you've won ANY of the RX-7 LeMans cars at the Roadster Endurance, (YES it's "Twice" as Long & "Twice" as Boring as GT3!) you can go into "Arcade" & check out the total of EIGHT different Liveries available.
I'm absolutely AMAZED :eek: that no one has made a big deal yet of the CarbonR Skyline that you can just "Buy!" ...O.G :D

The CarbonR has power but It's fugly as hell I was disapointed
 
This makes me wonder just how many of the race spec cars are available unpainted.

So far I only count 6:
787B, R92CP, GT One, R390 GT1, Formula, and now the RX-7 LM

It is an ugly car and i dont see the big deal. Will prolly never buy it. If the Tommy Kira R was in the game I woulda loved that, ahh

Same here. The S2000 has been mentioned a few times, but I haven't seen pics of it...

the ford GT you win in premium sports lounge is allwase a solid color version of the one you can buy. ive got a blue solid version currently

Thats not an LMP car. LMPs are the Bentley Speed 8s, Audi R8s, Pescarolos, BMW V12 LMR and so on ..

The RX-7 is just a LeMans race car, not an LeMans Prototype (LMP).

What version are you using Inferno? and someone please clear up all the confusion in my head from all the acronyms (NTSC, PAL, what does it all mean?)!!!

NTSC - J = Japan = first release of GT 4 in Dec. 04
NTSC - U/C = US = second release of GT 4 with a lot of changes
PAL = Europe = basically the same as US version of GT 4

That is important in this case, because you win different cars in some cups if you have for example the japanese or the american copy....
 
What is the performance difference between this RX-7 and the RX-7 you can buy from one of the tuning shops?They look a bit different,I think. :confused:
 
Here get the whole collecton.. I am of course missing the most important black car in the game. 100% is a long way away.. (damn missions)


Oh I got the black rx7 the first try then a blue one when I redid it.

Yer Australia, and to a lesser extent New Zealand both rock PAL versions of the game.
 
The cool thing about the black Ford GT, is: you can put on the cool secondhand Ford GT40 LM wheels, put on a big wing on the back, and make it a black Ford GT40 Spec II Race car.
I love to see a picture of that.

I have the car, put on a wing and the secondhand Ford GT40 race wheels (from the intro). to bad, I cannot save pictures. If I ca however, ill place it here!!!

that RX-7 is not a hidden colour version, it's just another variation without some decals

well thats imo, since I raced against it. It's not a bonus version if it is used by the cpu...

South Africa, and part of Hong Kong too(former UK territory, but most people in HK uses NTSC PS2/TV nowdays.)

it is definitely not ugly :P it looks amazing as long as you manage to make watchable replay with it ;) as long as you manage to drive it the least it looks fantastic..much better than the black LM cars :P

Its not even that, its just a fantasy car.

Remember the Altezza LM in GT 2.
It looks just like it. The one in GT3 & 4 don't look too good. it is so tall.
