I was 6 when this thread started, 7 in March that year...

Anyways, agreed on the Mustangs. Here's those '69 Boss 429's requested 12 years ago.

Some cars that you guys posted here are very beautiful. I rerally agree on the Mustangs and that Volvo P1800 above me.

I'm gonna have to go with these:

From top to bottom:
Dodge Challenger 1970, Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, Ferrari 250 GTO.

These are some of the most beautiful cars ever made, but of course, there's alot more cars worthy of being on this thread. But these are 3 of my personal favourites:

Honestly, I kinda prefer these.

That's a knock off Mach 1 :D

I could point out several things that are incorrect with the car but I see your point. I've always been a big fan of both cars, and never settled on which one I like better.

Don't think it was supposed to be a Mach 1 in the first place.

That tach next to the shaker hood scoop is a Mach 1 only option. Almost positive that particular scoop is a Mach 1 only option as well. It was one of 3, maybe 4 used that year. I want to say the chin spoiler may have been an option but I can't recall if it was offered on the base model.

I'm a purist in that regard, don't hate

The website I got it from said it was a Cobra Jet. :dunce:

That engine (the 428 CJ/SCJ) was offered in the Mach 1, and standalone base models. If that's true (and a numbers matching car), it's a Mach 1 with the side panel trim removed, grill changed and hood pins removed. Otherwise, it's just a base model car with a (likely) 428 swapped in it with some goodies. If it's a factory 428 car, that's pretty rare 👍 I''m guessing it's a Mach 1 that's had the changes made though, considering the chrome trim on the wheel arches. Not offered on anything but the Mach 1.

Also, none of the cars were actually labeled by Ford as the Cobra Jet other than the modern one. The title actually went to the engines themselves, which were the 428, 429 and 351C. Totally different motors.

Not that either are particularly bad mind you. :dopey:

For me, the prettiest car is the V12 Vantage Carbon Black. I just love those slinky curves.

A / in html code is normally used to indicate the end of something.

When someone says /thread it's basically saying "end the thread"

Basically in my mind you had the right answer and there is no point continuing the thread.

We should post what we would have posted when this thread was started. I was 12, so...I'm pretty sure I was obsessed with this Gran Turismo 3 car at the time:

Though I do distinctly remember it being terrible in the game.

I'll try. I was ~6, and could've cared less about cars. In fact, I think when I was 6 I thought cars were propelled by the gasses coming from the exhausts...

My favorite car when I was 6 was the '95 Chevrolet Corsica.
