I did change the gearing to 210 km, helped it a bit but still doesn't feel like a good car. The standard AE86's can drift standard, all concepts can drift standard but the GT is the only one which can't drift at least okay as standard. For a car made to bring back a legend, it hasn't been to great

I think the problem could be that they put the wrong tyres on the GT86, it shouldn't have sports hard as standard. I've had great fun with this car, It's one of the only cars I've bought more than one of. I'll see what my settings are and post them in the GT86 set up thread, give it a try and see if you like it.

I did give it comfort hard tyres but still didn't feel that spectacular

No problem, if you try my settings in the "86 GT '12 setups" thread and don't like it still, I guess you just look for different things in a drift car than I do, or else you like different tracks than I do. It was probably set up for Tsukuba.

i get sick of all the people using the FD Spirit Type A.

the efini one (if you talk about the premium FD's) doesnt seem to have a huge speed advantage over other cars.

the only cars i really dislike when drifting are the ones that change gears slowly. some stall completely while in a drift if you change a gear. luckally most cars are fine though.

(i love the M3/CSL. pretty much every drifter got one, and its pretty easy to control, so its a perfect car for epic close twin/group drifts.)

i hate those 4wd lambo drifters aswell, most of them cant even keep it on the road for a complete lap.

My go to drift cars are unique and i've only seen 1 other person use either. For slow courses I prefer the Prowler, and for faster courses I prefer the XFR. I usually hear flak from the young kids in the room, because I'm not driving a RX-7, Silvia, etc

Yep... but the Efini takes all the bad karma from the Bathurst (darn cheating car). As 99% or the FD drifters use those upgraded rear wings (witch are tacky also, by the way) inside the track is barely impossible to check if that FD is the honest one or the crooked one.
