Most money you have wasted on a car?

I fully modded a Renault Avantime, wasnt very fast, or cool looking, but I bet im the only one. I also have a Volvo C30 Race Car, one of im sure very few. Its not any good, but its really cool to go through it! Anyone else have an even more pointless pit of money?
 
A prius touring edition.. I painted it pink Chrome, threw some dubs on it..it was still lame.lol... c30 racer would be pretty cool. I haven't seen one yet.
 
I bought a 95 Suzuki Cappucino and did the Race Mods to it and put every possible upgrade from the tuning shop. and over $350,000 later, i have a car with 160HP, but hey it looks like a mini Honda S2000 so its pretty cool looking
 
The C30 Racer... go to the dealer and buy the Volvo, and then go put all the Aero Kits on it. Bam. Volvo Race Car. It worked quite well a while back for the GT Rally series...
 
Well, I originally but a Viper ACR, fully tuned it because I thought it would be usable in the All stars race, but that didn't work out. But man, the car sounds like a fighter jet, so money not wasted.
 
Fully modding a Ferrari F40 along with painting the car and rims black. It looked cool as hell, but between the copious turbo lag and finicky braking, it just wasn't the car for me. Now it just gathers dust in my garage :( at least it was free from the ferrari b-spec challenge...

i also spent around 300k buying and modding a 71 dodge challenger out of the used lot for the the historic race car series ( the races against gt40's, toyota 7's, chaparral 2j's). That stupid car turns like an aircraft carrier....

Also bought a Mclaren F1 for no specific reason.

Thinking back that wasn't actually a waste, my Fiat 500 rules. :)
 
forgot the amount but it was a lot spent on modifying the Cien i had won, i thought it would be as good as it was vs the competition (like it was in GT4) but i was very wrong...
 
The 700k I dropped on a zr1-RM was the most I've spent so far even tho I have a ton of race cars that I got from winning events. I'm at 3,977,998 credits atm and saving for a FGT so I guess 4.9m will be the most I spent soon =p.

Color shift purple, gold rims, -10 degree camber... More than worth it.

I would pay an extra five buck for a DLC that let me put spinners on any car. :D
 
The most money I wasted was buying the mclaren f1 for 1 million then modding it out to find that really its not all that.

I think the best buy is the zr1 race modded and the faster lambo murc
 
1,9 million for a Suzuki Escudo + money for tuning

I honestly though this car would win the B-spec Like the wind, but it didn't ... it did however set me back 2 million ++ credits on my Formula GT savings account hence why I think it was a waste of money :(

Im really not sure whats up with everyone who hates this car... It revs like a monster, goes like a jet, and has the coolest Tach dial in the world...
 
Escudo, fully tuned. Slower than Minolta in corners and slower than almost anything on straight.

I use it and its brilliant, take a look in the tuning forum at the tunes for it :)
 
2.6 mill for the Zonda R that I just recently received again for free in B-spec.
And the M3 GTR Race Car (1 mill) for the Touring championship when I get a CLK-GTR for free today with the new patch.

Also in the first few levels, I bought Turbo stage 1 and 2 even if I was aiming for 3. I didn't realize they could be bought individually, unlike engine tuning and weight reduction. Wasted a lot of early money on that :(
 
Bought F10 (10,000,000cr) not knowing that I can't use it in career mode.

Nothing wrong with an LFA, it's a very good drift car.

Most money I have wasted was on a Gallardo, which I fully modded, spent hours tuning, painted it matt black, then lent it to a friend so he could do the lambo races only to have it get lost in cyber space through a gift fail... argh.....

Mclaren F1 and Mercedes SLS are also pretty massive wastes of time, they just sit around gathering dust.
 
1 Milllion on the Enzo... Next one on my list is the Mazda 787B which i think is around 5.2?

I have about 2.9 saved up just now.
 
A fully modded Ford F-150 for the B-Spec truck championship, because Bob could not win with just a subtle tuning applied (had to bring in the big guns to even stand a chance of winning).

Serious money wasted on a car I won't be driving again.

Totally agree. I bought one and tuned it up to 500bhp and it's pretty much a tank. To make things worse, it had a top speed of 120mph or so. :ouch:

Thank god I have the Buick Special, a PROPER muscle car.

Did you adjust the transmission and suspension? The top speed is way over 120mph.

The most money that I ever "wasted" on a car was an accident. I meant to upgrade everything on my SLR McLaren, but instead after winning the Schwarzwald League A, I won a car that I had no interest in and accidentally hit yes to the "Do you want to use this car" prompt. So I then proceeded to the Tune Shop and forgot to change back to my SLR. I bought every upgrade for the Opel Speedster Turbo ‘00, that I was going to sell. I was pretty upset.
 
Nothing beats my tiny little piece of crap subaru s300 fully loaded :P
