If someone really wanted to test their mettle, tame a wild beast or otherwise have a real challenge keeping a car pointed straight and on the track, which car would you recommend they play with?

Preferably with stock settings, as I'm sure we could all make a Fiat 500 a "wild beast" with enough tuning.
 
I would say the fGT, the back spins out so easy with just a touch of the throttle.
 
Ooh thats a tricky one, its hard to pin point one paticular car, but there are several. In my expierence, i suggest, FGT, evora, elise, toyota 7, caterham....there are more, but i can't remember them, there are alot of cars in the game.
 
427 shelby cobra is a real handful on std tyres . can be fun tho !
 
Yellowbird, but the Mclaren F1 stock is also pretty brutal.
 
Definitely the Yellowbird, but the car is so fun.

+1 for stock Mclaren F1 as well.
 
I don't get why people are saying the FGT. Unless you are not using TCS, then it is easy to drive. Well for me anyway using a DS3.
 
Stock yellowbird. Nothing else even comes close in terms of trickyness.
 
SEMA Mustang is a real beast without racing tires ;)
And makes a lot of fun.
 
I found the Ferrari 330P4 particularly tricky to drive stock. But the Yellowbird is on an entirely different level in terms of difficulty.

Shelby Cobra. Tried it for the first time on the seasonal on stock tyres. Fun but I only jsut won because I kept sliding everywhere :yuck:
 
McLaren F1 is a pain to drive. So much oversteer when you exit corners, you really have to be careful on the throttle.
 
Yellowbird or Stratos I reckon. They're both insane.
 
Elise used for the Top Gear Intermediate challenge... not sure how much of that is to do with the comfort tyres though.

Going to give some of the cars in this list a bit of play soon me thinks, don't have many of them in my garage currently...
