Most underestimated car in GT3

damn... the link doesn't work anymore... i'm gonna try to find it elsewhere...

ok... go there, scroll until you see Gran Dorifto, made by BrianH...
http://drift.ath.cx:50/
pretty nice!

Holy cow im gonna have to wait for 30 mins for that, its only coming in at 11ks or so im gonna try again later thats too slow.

Hmm, I will check out the videos once I get cable installed soon hopefully...

I can't bash the Trueno, it was the easiest S License test to beat... I haven't really tried it on the game though. Many people have bashed the GT40 as non competitive in the higher divisions.... so I will test that theory a little later.

I just won the Altezza LM Race Car, I have heard no one mention it before, good or bad. I want to say that car has my big thumbs up right now. I can't say it's been underestimated since no one has even mentioned it yet. Let me be the first, Altezza LM rocks!!! :D :D :D

Actually I have mentioned this very car, on the forum once or twice, but no one seemed to care. I agree with you, that car is very nice.

Try it out on a dirt track!! <-- Yes it is possible !!

Another underestimated car would be the Lister Storm Race Car.
Very ugly, but very powerful.

I beat my best Raybrig lap in that car, and I was completely schocked! Because the Raybrig I had been adjusting and tweaking for a couple of days. The Lister Storm, on the other hand, only had some minor adjustments.

Peace

I am kinda stayed away from making those tweaking adjustments if I can help it. I did have to drop a car to the ground to make it handle slighty better for me to win one race, but that is all I can recall right now.

I do not have the Lister Storm Race Car, but I will have to get it soon. I would like to see what it can do. I don't even have any of the nice NSX Race Cars yet..... Raybrig, Arta, and whatever else there is. I do want all of them, as well as drive them to see what they got.

Again, the Altezza LM will be put to the test real soon.... I wanna see who it can compete with. :cheeburga

Hmmm... am I the only one here who never touches a race car before dropping it, hardening the suspension, strenthening the brakes, and upping the downforce (all of the them to the max setting) in simulation mode?

Real racers don't need brakes, or downforce, or suspension! WUSSY!!

I just remembered: Another hugely underestimated car has got to be the Panoz Esperante.

The default settings of this car are pretty horrid, so unless you've got some of that good ole' tweeekin expeerience, be aware !! It is a monster!! But if you are patient enough, you will be awarded one of the coolest machines in your garage.

And for those of you who have got the guts:

Take it out on the Tokyo R246 Endurance!!

If I don't know how it handles stock, I don't know if I'm improving it or not.

Rick

I got it!!!

A very underestimated car is the TVR Tuscan Speed 6. I mean, right when u get it from the dealer, it handles pretty bad, but after some lil' tweaking, u can get a really really nice car.

And today I tested it against pretty average to good racing cars like the Nissan GT-1, Gillet Vertigo and the Panoz and I ended first place. It happened in Grand Valley. :D

that car eats up tires like popcorn :cheeburga

but they grip far less. and you slide all over the place. i like to powerslide just as much as the next guy, but i prefer more grip just the same 8)

Dude, it just really depends in ur driving style. So far with the Super Slicks that I put on my Tuscan, I almost never run-out of grip. I think some people are confused about getting tires. Super Slick and Soft have the same grip but SS lasts longer. In the other hand if u want grip in the moment, u probably want Soft , but I have never used soft in pro races, and I shouldnt.

I think a very underestimated car is the...wait for it...Toyota Vitz.Once tuned properly it can win the FF races on the Pro League.

The difference in grip is none. It just takes longer for the SS to warm up. Thats the only differ/ and the SS dont die as fast.

I found putting mid slicks on the front and super hards on the rear greatly improved the Tuscan. After a couple of laps the car was very balanced. :)
