Start saving now: a collection of historic Ferraris will go up for auction at Maranello on 20 May, when they're likely to change hands for millions of pounds.
RM Auctions and Sotheby's are to run the sale, which will include over 100 lots of memorabilia from Ferrari's own archives, as well as some remarkable cars. There's a 1962 330 TRI/LM Testa Rossa, the only 4.0-litre Testa Rossa Ferrari built. It won at Le Mans, driven by Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien. There's also a 1970 512 S, second in the 1971 Daytona 24 Hours and said to be one of the most original and unmolested examples.
A 1966 Dino 206 SP, with original 2.0-litre V6, gearbox and bodywork, restored and with a long history in sports car racing, will also go under the hammer, as will Michael Schumacher's Monaco and Spa winning car from 1997.
