Hello all. I'd say that I've driven a lot of the cars in the game and have been taken by surprise by many of them. I'm always on the lookout for those precious gems that I've never laid hands on. Please share with us what you think is or are the most well-balanced cars in terms of power and handling.

I was personally surprised by these three:

Suzuki GSX/R
Gathers Drider Civic
Asparadrink RX7 (Standard)

-BMW M3 CSL, and M3 E92

-BMW 135i
(This little one is not affraid to bully his older M brothers.)

-Nissan GTR Spec V
(The most balanced car in the game. It kicks butt. It´s unbeatable. But for some strange reason, the most BORING CAR TO DRIVE! It just grips, and grips, and grips, and...)

-Volvo C30, Focus ST and Civic Type R FD2
(The most balanced FF cars in the game)

-Audi R8 5.2

And there are more which I can´t recall. Not many cars can be considered trully balanced in GT5. These are the ones that stand out the most in my garage at least. All of them have nothing but Soft Sports, Weight Reduction #1 and the magical oil that boosts around 50hp.

Hands-down for me is the Ferrari F430. There's just no other RWD car that handles so smoothly and easily through high-speed curves.

83 audi quattro.
In stock form I can drive that thing harder than I can a redbull. That might just be because I have one irl.

Ruff rgt (or whatever is not supposed to be an early 2000's porsche 911)
You can get overstear on command. Plus it's just one of those ones that is a BLAST to drive.

These are just off the top of my head, but, a question to the OP, are we talking stock or tuned cars?

Premium Honda NSX Type R and BMW M5.

The Honda just revs beautifully and puts the power to the road with such ease. It also never does anything surprising and you always know where the limit is.

BMW is pretty much the same, you always know exactly what it is capable of. You'll also always achieve that maximum because it's such an easy car to drive fast.

Great suggestions guys. Keep them coming. Also, are there any out of the ordinary cars that really surprised you when you drove them?

The tesla at alaska...... Best really car known to man.

'99 Tiburon... when you turn up the power, that thing just grips and goes. Also, mine is painted an utterly lifeless shade of gray, further upping the troll factor.

The HKS silvia that was in the OCD about a month and a half ago.

I actually thought that was a terrible drift car, despite that being its intended purpose

For me its the Superautobacs MR-S.. even when its maxed out (382 hp) it just will not spin out. ever. and it has a ridiculous amount of grip. There is nothing I cant do with this car. I could drive it through a keyhole

Ive done 2:17 @ Spa 560pp

I didn't know it was for drift but that and it's top speed are it's only other disadvantages I think.

Schulze Motorsports GTR has to be the best one for me. It's amazingly well balanced.

Some others that stick out in my mind...

Lotus Elise 111R RM

Any GT500 or GT300 cars.

The new Chevy Camaro

Nissan GTR '07 and GTR Spec V '09

Trial Celica !! (Stock or tuned)
Drive it and love it. It sooooo awsome for a FF-Car.

Clio Trophy Car
It´s a shame that PD didn´t use the Tuned Clio from GT5P

Tommykaira ZZ-S
It´s like an Elise but me think it is better :D I love this little thing.

BMW V12 LMR
It is my favourite Le Mans Racer. It is so awsome to drive, maybe not the fastest but you could loose while being in a superb looking Cockpit xDD

Caterham Fireblade
I slightly tuned it and its awsome.

But my alltime favourite:
Toyota FT-86 Concept !!
Looks stunning and drives superb. At almost any pp range it is very good to drive.

Others which deserve a mention:
Z4, 370Z, GTR´s (R32-35), Silvia /-RM, Integra /-RM, TVR Tuscan /-RM, Audi R8 (V8 and V10), SLS, Ford GT.
All other Cars where mentioned

Lexus ISF RM. With the tune I found on here (can't remember who's tune it was)

This thing is just beautiful! 700bhp on tap, runs 6.30 laps around the nurburgring all day long. It can probably be done quicker, but it's about my limit in that car I think. It just grips, goes, does 200mph with ease, and most importantly of all.... 8 gears people!!

My 2 cents:

Ferrari F2010 - runs on rails

Mazda Furai Concept 08 - Drives like a dream without any tuning at all.

BMW 135i
Mistubishi Lancer Evo X
Nissan GT-R
Autobacs ARTA Garaya
VW Lupo GTI Race Car
Mugen MOTUL Civic Si

and

the DLC Nissan Skyline R32

Ferrari F430 and the 430 scud
All the GT-Rs there are a few now and the paint on the TC is amazing
FT-86, both of those
NSX I thought was going to try to kill me, but no. It just makes me look good, thanks Senna!
Polo GTI was a great surprise
Mobile1 NSX, hands down my favourite GT500 car

Cosbuster
The alfa Romeo with the long name I can neither remember nor pronounce.

TZ2 the 65' pebble beach car ?

That one is an incredibly fun machine. Set room to tuning prohibited as well Sports Softs and enjoy.

I'd have to say it drives so good stock we are doing a spec series.
