Clicky Clicky.

Very awesome indeed. I'm looking towards buying this game. My Radeon 9550 plays this game on maxed out settings at 1024x768 without any lag, so your system should be fine too (512Mb and a 2.2 GHz AMD processor also). Can't wait for my 6800XT....mwuahaha.

Anyways the game is great. Fileshack also has it if you wan't do download faster (but you have to register).

Decent game, but it gets repetitive after a while :( Plus since it's nearly a year old, the graphics are pretty outdated. On the positive side the new Xbox 360 version out soon has some nice updated graphics, hopefully they'll try and do the same for the PC.

Review....

Game: MotoGP3-Ultimate Racing Technology
Publisher: THQ
Genre: Racing-Bike

Summary: MotoGP3 is the long awaited installment to the MotoGP series. This new game features many authentic bikes and riders, as well as tracks. Multiplayer enabled, so when you brush your skills up in single player, you can blow the competition away in multiplayer.

MotoGP3 is, all in all, a fantastic game. The graphics are well surpassing that of MotoGP2, as well as the gameplay and everything else you can think of. The demo includes:

4 bikes (1 Grand Prix (Valentino Rossi-Yamaha), 1 Extreme 600 (Gavin Courtside-Ignasio for all extreme classes), 1 Extreme 1000, and 1 Extreme 1200)

2 tracks (LeMans for Grand Prix bikes and Tokyo Late Night Road Course for extreme, both 3 laps long)

Multiplayer.

Back to the review....In the demo, the graphics are very nicely done, better than GT4 I dare say. The gameplay is just as matching. Grid girls, pit strategies, etc. all make the game very fun to play. The demo does get repetive, but the full version is surely better.

In my opinion, I like the Extreme 600 or 1000 bikes best, because they seem easiest to control under high speeds and in tight corners. The Grand Prix bikes are the most realistic, and can be raced on real tracks, but don't appeal to me as much. The Extreme 1200 bikes are fun to gun the throttle with, but they are like a brick on wheels when it comes to cornering. They have waaaay too much swing when countering a lean-into turn. But to each his own, right?

Bottom Lnie: MotoGP3 is a great game for any GP enthusiast looking for a realistic, fun experience.

Enjoy.

I just tried this demo today. It's got pretty good graphics and it's a decent game overall, but not what I would call "great" -- the physics leave a bit to be desired (the whole game seems sorta arcadey, actually).

By far, the biggest annoyance is the engine sound, which doesn't really follow the RPMs very well, sounds like it's at half-throttle when it's idling, and changes pitch with every gearchange. 12000rpm in 6th gear sounds significantly lower-pitched than 12000rpm in 1st gear. :odd:

Call me shallow if you want, but I can't stand the engine sound problems, so I won't be buying this game. Just goes to show you how important details like that can be.

Yeah, the motogp series from climax is lots of fun but its an arcade game. The bikes don't behave like real bikes at all.
You can however get a mod to part 2 or 3 that upgrade the physics. I have not tried it yet but all that have tried them say they are a great improvment...for simheads only
