Motor Oils

What kind of oil does everyone use and what app. is it for? I've been trying differernt oils to figure out which one is the best, I've found Royal Purple to be rather good, but its pricey. I also use the Castrol Truck oil which seems to work well, but the Royal Purple tends to work the best.

So what do you use? And how does it perform?

I used 10w/30 Mobil 1 full synthetic religiously for a long time in my go-fast cars. And then I woke up a month ago and realized how expensive $4.30 a quart was. I have since switched to Quaker State synthetic blend for High HP. Though I have only put roughly 50 miles on my car since the change, my motor runs a lot smoother and at half the price of the Mobil 1, my pocket feels better. Time will tell how it holds up to the heat of a turbo..

When my new motor get's dropped in I'm going to try Amsoil. It's expensive ****, but people who use it swear by it.

I use Penzoi 10W-30l. Gets the job done. Nothing special.
