10pm Wednesday: Sitting in my 18 year old bros room and we hear a metal against metal CLUNK. I remember several days before a lad about 17 knocking on the door and asking if an imaginary Simon lived at our house. As he walked off, he looked under my brothers motorbike cover. Anyway, I jump to the window and pull open the curtains to see a group of 4 or 5 people about 15-18 years old trying to lift the front wheel as they drag the bike out the front garden. I run downstairs, grab an ebony-cored snooker cue and pull the front door open. My brother shouted out the window and the legged it. Having no shoes on I couldn't catch them.
They jump on a group of mopeds round the corner and ride off.

We call the police. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

The bike (a 1990 Yamaha DTR125 traillie) wasn't damaged, but they cut the chain round the rear wheel, but couldn't get the disc lock off.
It's locked up in a neighbours alleyway now, with a new alarm and stronger chain.

But what really annoys me is that if I'd smacked one of them with my cue, the police would arrst me for assault and I would get charged, but they can't even be arsed to come out for about 8 people trying to steal his bike.:banghead:

Nothin new... I had stuff stollen from my car twice parked right outside my house and my neighbor even got camera footage of the second time. They did nothing, Of course I had gone to the police station and personally brought the tape as well, they still didn't care.

That really sucks. Even i get upset. I would,if able, hit those bastards with the snooker cue until they BEG for mercy. Oh god, I hate when things isn't fair. here's a advice: if they try to steal you're bike ONE more time, you should kick their asses with whatever you have in you hands.

Some guy tried to steel my phone, I realised, chased him, tackled him, (on concrete) took my phone back then got his and smashed it. I felt bad at first but I rekcon he deserves it. He should be grateful I didnt beat him up.

A guy tried to steal my cellphone to. But he gave up after a 1.5 km run...damn that was fun

A couple guys tried to steal a bicycle out of my garage one afternoon. I head them from inside and ran out to see the idoit walking the bike a few doors down from me. I ran over fully intending to kick his ass (the other guy was old and drunk and clearly afraid) but he was so cowardly and pathetic I didn't have it in me to actually hit him. I took back the bike, went home and called the police on my cell phone as I followed them in my car, making sure the cops could find them.

I just remembered the guy tried to lie and said that "Joe at the park", or something like that, told him to go and get the bike, that the bike was his. How lame is that?

Hmm, around two years ago someone stole my BMX (about $3,000 worth) and I was like totally worn down. And then two days later I see this f_ucker across the street riding my bike. I ran across the street and while he was still riding my bike I pulled him by his head down to the floor first. *lol*
After that I took my bike and threw it on him like three or four times as hard as I could. *rofl* Must have looked pretty hardcore. Afterwards I took my bike and pedaled it home. XD Anyways, I still think he deserved it just like that.

If I were you, Party for GT4, I'd have beaten their asses up with that billiard cue. As someone said, you still could say it was self defence.

 hmm.. Ok so he tired to take yours but then you caught him and he already had one and you smashed it. I got some other questions but what do you do with a second C phone if you already have one?

How do you know that was actually your bike and not his that he bought? Is your bike that different or distinguishable? oh... remind me not to piss you off too. :odd: :scared:

well...a $3000 bike should be easily distinguished and I doubt many people in his hood had one like it. Similarly, If I EVER see the ****er that mugged me some months back, he's not going to live to see the next day.

1. I bought every part of it and built it myself, so the chance, that someone in my place has the same bike as me is pretty slim, isn't it? *g*

2. Well... I got a big sticker with my nickname on the frame. ;) Enough of an explanation? *lol*

PS. Usually I'm quite laid-back so don't worry. ;)

thieves are idiots. if some Mofo try to take my bike i would get in my '72 V-dub and just run his Poor( as in no money) ass over!!!

and the one thing i would say to him is " bi*ch "

if he came after me. i would give him the bike and hop into the V-dub and hit him again.

im j/k. imnot serious

i would chase him down though.!

The cops never do anything when property is stolen. If it is reported, and they do recover the bike, they usually sell it a city auctions. Cops don't bother checking if an item is reported stolen anymore where I'm from.

In a related matter, a LA man was arrested for murder a couple days ago when a couple of mexican car thieves tried to steal his car, which was a tricked out "ricer", and one of the thieves was shot and killed, and another shot and injured. If you are not attacked, you have no right to shoot, punch, hit, etc... a thief, Unless he is armed with a weapon. However, here in California, if he enters your house or garage, you can shoot him dead even if he doesn't have a weapon.

What type of frame is it? I did the same thing with my BMX(not get it stolen, but built it).

I don't remember exactly, but I think it was a T1 or a FBM, since my brother likes those. Or maybe a Haro? *lol*
My brother picked it back then and since we recolored it, there are no brand stickers anymore. I really don't remember.
I just remember the costs for importing the frame were almost the same as the price for the frame itself. *lol*And since then I changed the frame twice.

Now I have a T1, which is good. What type of frame do you have?

@Solid Lifters: I think it is okay, that you have no right to shoot someone if they are not attacking you. ;)

I would of taken a baseball bat and beat them with you as long as its on your property when you do it you can just say tresspassing and robbery :), Id love to just find someone like that or a person i hate and just smash them with a bat or something if I wouldnt get into trouble. :trouble:

I wonder if I would have the guts to hit a man in the head with a bat, unless he killed or hurt a loved one or something.

We ****ed some kid up pretty bad Monday morning. Some dumb punkass kid tried stealing my buddies Galant VR-4 from outside of a local performance/tuning shop. His turbo timer was letting the car cool down for a minute, and the kid thought we left it running with the keys so he jumps in it, and tries to leave. Doesn't even get out of the parking lot before it shuts down. Half a second later we're pulling him out of the car showing him what 14" GBX's & Doc's taste like. *****.

Thing is, when you look out the window and see someone robbing your stuff, you don't stop and think 'hum I wonder if he's got a knife' you think 'that ****er has my bike. Bastard I'll kick his ass all the way to hell'. The first thought in my mind was to grab the cue. Only problem is, I know they are part of the gang on the estate that always steal bikes and smash **** up. If I beat the **** out of one of them, then my parents are gonna go through hell because they would all know where we live.

More likely, if they try it again I'll just find out who the gang leader of the TPA is (Thornhill Pychopathic Army, in case you're wondering), wear a balaclava and find out where he lives. I can beat him up and they won't have a clue who it was, because no-one knows me.

But I don't really know if its worth it. I mean, they **** themself so badly anyway, I doubt they'll try again for a long time.

Punisher-esque violence? Wow. If you know who the gang leader is, just report it to the police or something, they usually are more concerned with getting gangs off the streets to make themselves look better.
