If your an avid Motorsport fan, youve most likely had dreams about motorsport! Share them here. I got this idea from a thread on RaceDepartment and decided to see what kind of dreams the GTP Motorsport fans had. Here are mine, there not that great.

Alright. I want to go to Le Mans very badly when I grow up. So I had a dream that I was at Le Mans in the Peugeot garage with my suit on looking at the car while the engineers were working on it, and I was talking ot one of the engineers. Last night I fell asleep watching the Daytona 24 hour. I had a dream that I was racing a 24 hour race at Walktins Glen for some reason! lol and I got my team into the lead. I pitted with a driver change. Guess who my teammate was? Scott Pruett haha. So we had a big lead, and I had to just watch on the pit box for the rest of the race. Then Scott did something really stupid and crashed driving straight through some other cars. He walked back to the pits after the race with the steering wheel and we started to argue. Then we took are helmets off and started to fight. He started saying weird things about my mom. I was about to punch him in the mouth, but then I woke up :(

 That dream is awesome.

Mine are usually quite similar and there usually modern F1. I'm driving the McLaren (or sometimes Caterham) and I'm winning the race.

My bad dreams are when Massa just randomly crashes into me

Lol. I wish I had then more often

I never have racing dreams for some reason, although I have had multiple dreams where I crash my car and I'm pissed about it.

My dreams usually involve some sort of Rally car or Raid Truck. Just a couple days ago, I was in some sort of major, international rally near where I live. I crashed my Bowler Nemesis into a lake, and somehow the 2 of us were able to push it out. We got back in, and drove off into the sunset, and ended up getting 4th.

Another time I dreamt of standing on top of a McLaren at the end of the race, in First place. Lewis Hamilton came over and told me that i "Rocked". After that happened, I had some sort of interaction with people who are currently the subject of my social life.. and an "encounter" with one of them. After this happened, I went and raced a Rebellion at Le Mans, but all of my mates were in the pits the whole time. I won that too, and then returned home to my "Normal" life. Then it was just more social drama.

You must be seeing it from Lewis' perspective. Everyone else sees it the other way.

No, it's just that sometimes Lewis crashes out on his own so Massa starts attacking new unsuspecting victims.

My dreams usually involve Megan Fox and Katy Perry.

... this is the wrong thread ...

Ahhh... I've found a Hamilton fan. Most people would blame Lewis for most of those incidents.

No, I'm just McLaren biased :) I'm also Ferrari anti-biased. If Hamilton hits someone else it's his fault for ruining McLaren's race. If a Ferrari and a McLaren crash I instantly blame the entire Ferrari team

Well that's fine, but you shouldn't let you bias cloud your judgement. In all but one clash between Hamilton and Massa in 2011, popular opinion deemed Hamilton responsible.

Personally, I still believe he was at fault in India too, but that's another can of worms.

I don't really like ferrari either

There's no real reason behind it. I think it's because when I was younger I got a Lego F1 Ferrari car, and the tires where so grippy that it couldn't drift around corners

Although I know you're right, I still prefer to blame Massa :)

Don't worry, I don't take my anti-Ferrari opinions to seriously, and if they offered me a chance to drive one of their cars I would pertend I loved them and take their offer :)

[Warped Logic] Dreams go off topic all the time though, so we're just being accurate to what dreams are like. [/Warped Logic]

I fixed your text parsing. 👍

Thanks 👍, it's probably time to get this back on topic.

I once had a dream where I was competing in an 24hr endurance rally at some random rally circuit surrounded by trees. Unfortunately I woke up before the race finished. My teamates were Robert Kubica, Sebastien Loeb and Kimi Raikkonen. In my stint I was having a great battle with another car although I have no idea who anyone else competing was.

A 24hr endurance rally race would be awesome though.

Fair enough. At least I know where your coming from whenever the next Hamilton/Massa incident occurs. 👍

When I was a kid, I dreamed of being a racing driver. The dream is gone now, but that doesn't stop me fantasizing from time to time. Sometimes, when I'm asleep, I dream that I'm an F1 driver. But as you get older, dreams like this become rare and are more likely to be day dreams than something you actually dream about when you sleep.

Take last night for example, I was running around an airport looking for my Fiancee. She's in Japan right now and I'm in the UK.

So anyway, I'm running around this airport and I keep getting interrupted by people. Eventually, I get to the arrivals bit to find an email telling me she had been waiting there for me but had just left.

At that point, I realize that I had slept late. So I wake up, go to my computer and saw that she had been online trying to talk to me, but had to leave as she was busy.

Creepy huh?

Anyway, back on topic, I still sometimes day dream that I'm a racing driver. But it's mostly when I'm playing GT5 :sly: I come crashing back to reality shortly after.

Which reminds me, up until recently, I had always had a quiet belief that had I been in the right environment from an early age, I could cut it with the best in F1 today. When I read this thread, (and please don't bump it, it's best left in the past) I realized that the belief I had was wrong. I don't think I could do it. Sure, I've had moderate success in karting, but not in proper leagues. Just against my friends.

Anyway, the point I was trying to make, is that these dreams kind of die off as you get older.

But did his sandwich have the #1 shape somewhere on it?

It was a baguette.

A while ago i had a dream about being an F1 driver in a Williams BMW if you remember that partnership. For some reason we were racing in a small circle....

I've had dreams about a Formula 3 race taking place in my town and being in a car for it.

I haded a dream of being in a NASCAR and racing the best. I beaten every driver in every race in the entire season.
:(:(:(:(:(:(:banghead:

At the end of the season, I started to celebrate, and I watch all the drivers crying (except Kyle Bush, he started getting angry as a monkey).
