;)

Nice video. Yes, it did make pole, for anyone who was, like me, wondering, and finished third.

Commas aplenty.

It did indeed finish third. Sorry, I could have put up some more info for those who might have been wondering about the rest of the story. TWR had three Jaguars at Bathurst in 1985. John Goss and Armin Hahne won the race, Tom and Win Percy finished third as Roo found out and the Geoff Allam Jag only got to lap 2. The Jags reved to 7200 rpm, weighed 1400kg and used a 5 speed box. Tom's Jag had oil cooler problems throughout the race and was filling up with oil every time it pitted toward the end of the race. The Goss Jag had broken seat mountings and he was rocking and sliding all over the place toward the finish. Peter Brock was rapidly catching the Goss Jag until the Commodore broke the timing chain. The Holden V8 was forced to run a single row timing chain under Group A where they were permitted a double chain in Group C.

Here is a site with some more videos. Video #2 is a promotional video of the pre V8 Supercars from 1993. Video #3 is a promotional video of Bathurst put together by broadcaster Channel 7 which was aired during the 1984 Bathurst telecast. Both are well worth the wait.
