Aussie Touring Car legend, Peter Brock, was given the nickname 'Peter Perfect'.
Although he'd laugh & smile whenever it was used, it didn't sit well with him personally.

The Gas Man
Jumper
Terrible Ted
Taffy
Rowdy
The Flying Mantuan
The Snake
Pancho
Fireball

Struggling with these. Taffy could be a Welsh driver seeing as Taff is an (inaccurate) term for someone from South Wales. Maybe Monmouth's Alan Rees?

Or it could be an American driver with a sweet tooth.

The Bear Denny Hulme
Bergkönig
The Bike Mike the bike Hailwood
Black Jack Brabham
The Blackburn Bullet
The Boss - Jos Verstappen
Britney - Nico Rosberg

Il Commendatore
D-Dubya
The Doctor - Valentino Rossi
Flash - Gordon Sheddon

Il Grande John
The Intimidator
Johnny Carwash
The King
King Without A Crown
Il Leone - Nigel Mansell

El Maestro
Muddy Talker - Murray Walker (though I may be thinking "Muddly Talker"!)
Peter Perfect
The Professor - Alain Prost
The Rat - Niki Lauda
Regenmeister - Michael Schumacher
Rusty
The Shunt - James Hunt
The Swerve
Uncle Ken

Hans Stuck, King of the Mountain

These are fun. Here's few more to guess:

The Gas Man
Jumper JARRIER
The Abruzzi Robber
Quick Vic VIC ELFORD
Terrible Ted
Taffy
Rowdy
Super Swede RONNIE PETERSON
The Flying Mantuan
The Snake
Pancho
Fireball. ROBERTS

Is Terrible Ted the only F1 driver black flagged for being too slow Al Pease?

I have a sneaking suspicion that "Al" was a nickname and his real name was Edward.

Terrible Teddy goes back eons into the earliest years of motor racing. Competed in the 500 and set a world land speed record. A nightmare to solve!
Also unsolved are The Gas Man (think Indy), and Taffy, a German.

Edward Roberts, otherwise known as "Fireball Roberts."

EDIT: Just realized I've been beaten to it by quite a while. Gave me an excuse to read up on him a bit more. Tragic way to go, even more ironic considering the nickname.

"The Tasmanian Devil" is that Marcos Ambrose?

"Million Dollar Bill" former NASCAR driver Bill Elliott maybe?

Bill Elliot was mostly known as "Awesome Bill from Dawsonville" I believe. Though he was the first to win the Winston million dollar thing back in the day, so it's also entirely possible.

Underbird was Alan Kulwicki.

Tom Sneva, "The Gas Man", Indy winner and first man to lap at 200 mph. Heavy foot and big talker.

"Jaws" = Darrell Waltrip, a.k.a. "D-Dubya", loquacious former stock car champion and currently announcer and color analyst..

There's only one nickname I can think of that hasn't been mentioned yet - who was Ginsters?

Haw haw! I've finally figured this out. It's not a racing driver at all - it's Jack Roush!
