Close - based on this, I made the answer 64 circuits overall, 42 of which have held more than 3 Grand Prixs.

As you were closest, and I'm away for a week starting tomorrow, I decree that's it's your go.

Didn't even realise this was the question (not being motorsport related and all that)

I can't think of any tricky questions right now so heres an easy topical one.

Q) Which complete, current F1 circuit is Jacques Villeneuve likely to visit next year if he joins the Busch Series?

Roo gets it 👍

Apparantly the guy that organises the Canadian GP also has the option run one other race at the circuit per year. It's been a Champ Car round for the past 3 years, but this year he's swapping to Busch Series. I don't know whether its because of Jacques or just a stroke of luck.

Ahh... it's my go, isn't it? Whoops.

Who's the only driver to have won the Spa 24hrs in the 80s, 90s and 00s?

Shàng is this symbol,

which you can compare to the track map :

According to the chinese/french dictionary I found, it is an adjective which means high, superior or first, previous.

Circuit architects Hermann Tilke and Peter Wahl
The 5.4 kilometre racing track is shaped like the Chinese character 'shang', which stands for 'high' or 'above'. Other symbols represented in the architecture originate from Chinese history, such as the team buildings arranged like pavilions in a lake to resemble the ancient Yuyan-Garden in Shanghai. Here, nature and technology are carefully used to create harmony between the elements.

;)

A quick one : what's the distance (in miles) between Suzuka and Laguna Seca ?
(+/- 10 miles)

The answer was 5,399 miles.

Which german F1 driver is/was called the "master of the ring" and "master of the rain" ?

seriously, man... that last question wasn't Motorsports Trivia... it was more like geography trivia.

Wasn't Senna the master of the rain?

Anyway, the German master of the rain has to be Michael Schumacher... as to being the master of the ring... only if it's the new Nürburgring (not the Nordschleife)

That's right. I have an extended definition of motosport it seems :indiff:

Senna isn't german so it can't be the answer. He truly was the best on wet surfaces, but he wasn't the driver we're looking for.
And "Ring" refers indeed to the Nürburgring indeed but the Nordschleife, so the driver is not Schumacher either.

Nice avatar BTW. :D
