Is the incident where he was holding up the leader at Nürburgring in the late 90's?
The video clip the commentary is from appears to be on the Nurburgring GP but it wasn't the guy holding up the leader.

Thanks, Liquid.

Let's see...

"And what is Deletraz doing?"
  1. Who said that quote and why?
  2. Who is Deletraz?
I already know the answer to 1 but I need the answer to 2.

Weaving erratically for no apparent reason at the 1995 European GP

Looks like he was trying to warm his tyres. Or he had some wheelspin having gone off throttle and his talent, uh... left him lacking.

He might have been running out of fuel. That trick worked in the old days :)

Since nobody seems to have taken their go since Wednesday, I'll get the ball rolling with a different question (it might have been asked before but in a slightly different guise).

Only one female driver has won a Formula One race. There are three parts to the question - who, where and in what car?

Is this someone from the short-lived British Formula One series? A national series that sprang up for a few years in the 70s.

A little bit of research has made me come to the conclusion that they were both involved in a phone hacking scandal?

Yeah. Pretty sure we've had something like this before. The Mosleys were an inspiration to JK Rowling's Malfoys. More specifically, Lucius Malfoy is inspired by Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Fascists.

At the Silverstone F1 test we saw Santino Ferrucci drive the Haas F1 car. This means an American drove for an American team.

When was the last time this happened?
Who was the driver?
What was the team?

Eddie Cheever with (ironically) Haas Ltd in the late 80's?

I read an article that Haas F1 shared that gave a date that would have worked for Danny Ongais and Brent Lunger in 1977
Ohh, interesting read?

Yeah, Eddie Cheever drove for Haas Ltd in 1986 for only one race - 1986 Detroit Grand Prix. 👍

Question time!

Out of the 34 current Indycar drivers, how many of them have driven a Formula 1 car? Name them all in your answer.

15 (16)
Sato, Andretti, Rossi, Chilton, Dixon, Kanaan, Daly, Filippi, Hildebrand, Bourdais, Wilson, Aleshin, Montoya, Castroneves and Power.
Brabham must have driven his family's former cars at some point, but nothing contemporary that I can find.

When did Kanaan drive one? :dunce:

Others are right btw. 👍

Indeed she carried the number at Brands Hatch '74; it was their primary sponsor (Luxembourgian FM208).

However... she didn't ever race in F1 with 208 as far as I'm aware; the highest number that ever raced was in 1952 when Kraus raced #136 :D

That wasn't the question though I guess :)
