Mouse side buttons not working in-game

Already paying my Isp 4 Access
So I have Dead Space 2.
Good game,

Controls are a lot better than in the first one (no laggy mouse) but i can't bing the side buttons (4+5) ingame to an action.

Trying to manuelly bind them in setpoint doesn't work.
Uberoptions doesn't work with setpoint 6.??

Any ideas??
 
How about you assign the buttons to some keys on your keyboard and then set what commands you want to those keys? Other than that you can try to assign the commands to the mouse's buttons.
 
Ok got it to work.

In setpoint I reassigned the buttons.
But on the generic setup, not the program specific (that didn't work).
It's not ideal as i need to change it everytime,otherwise the buttons don't work in windows or other programs.

But at least it works...
