Mount Panorama is a very technical twisting track. Hopefully i do better starting next Friday 1 lap down both races. Bathurst is hard for drivers with controllers.

I run a controller also. If there is ANYTHING I can do to help with a tune or even just a practice buddy.

Doubt if I'd have fared any better really Champ.. Tire wear was still pretty bad with the Viper GTS '13 even on the Mountain.. It's a really gnarly course, I'd take Nordschliefe 10 times over.. I had to put in hours and hours just to be able to drive it and still not that sharp there..Every track's got it's own unique rhythm to it, but that one's very technical and tricky like you said.. I'll be needing to soften up on spring rates for future rounds to try and mitigate the tire wear..
Only ran those rates up to around a third, but bringing it back down again..Should help a little..

Champ if you dont mind me saying. The mountain is about minimizing mistakes. That track is like that more than others it makes you pay dearly. What im trying to say here is do not step above your skill level to match others lap times. If you do that and keep it between the lines you will have better finishes.

I think this is worthy of a Quote in another thread. ;)

Thank you everyone for your input and feedback to help me improve in future races. That is what will help me improve is the critique and information from others. I probably was pushing myself to hard at Bathurst and that is why i didn't do as good as my driving could have been. I think i will improve over time just like i have with Snail sunday night racing.

I agree bro. It's not that you don't know how to drive. I don't think it's that at all. Having to go from the wheel down to a controller is what did it I think. More often than not, the tunes are very different as well as the whole driving style. I try to help out every one as much as I can. Most of the time I'm having to take into account the "wheel factor" when helping some one tune. I may not be the best tuner on the planet but, I can make a controller driven car fly.

Funny part is i haven't owned a racing wheel in all the years i have played GT or any racing game. Planning to get a racing wheel in the near future. Already know which one i want to get, just have to wait till wife and i have enough money for it. I think i will be alot more better on the wheel compared to using the DS3 controller all these years. Always enjoy racing online.

I thought you were on DS3 from the wheel. I could have sworn I saw that. I don't know, sorry. Want a fast tune then lol?

I can't get online through PSN for about another hour. If you're on then I'll invite you to a room so we can fine tune it. If not then I'll send you what I've got. I WILL need to get with you on the transmission as it is WAY too complex to type out.

Lol heard this one comes with sone nasty bugs.Something about the transmission getting reset to default after online races . Thank God for that 99cent notebook.

Confirmed. When I'm in seasonal events, every time I come off of the track my transmission gets reset no matter which car I'm in. Good news is our club lobby seems to be okay.

Do you know if it does it for all the tuning sheets on the car or just the one you are using?

Also first golf tournament is today, wish me luck, and see you guys tomorrow.

Yes, it doesn't matter which car or which sheet. either rite down you trans out of your srt viper for the challange.

Yea I tested in club lobby last night. No issuez there same lap times and all that. So we will be good to go.

I think that we're fine we just have to tie a rope to a tree and the other end to warmachine to slow him down to where us mortals are lol.

Dont forget me. I found the low 50's the other day. I'm sure there is a 49.7 there. I'll running laps tonight for damn sure. This week has been crazy.
