Hey i was wondering why my drift vid i made was so big it is only about 2 minutes
and it is about 400 mb i recorded it using my digital camera(too cheap to buy a capture card).

You probably need to compress it. Use Divx or Xvid or whatever. Try doing a search on those in this forum and you should get some help there.

i searched around and i think i know what to do......i have to use divx to compress my movie somehow but my divx player wont play my video i dled the newest free version and still same problem...but i managed to make the vid smaller in size by addng it to a winzip file but its still 291 mb...

A good editing program is Windows movie maker2. Easy to use and works well. This program gives you an option as to how big you want the vid to be... i.e. to what size you want to compress it.

Below is the link:

Windows Movie Maker 2

If you want to convert a movie file type to another you need a different kind of video editing program. I think the most popular / powerful is virtualdub
