As the title states, what phrases from movies do you use in everyday conversation?

Whenever I'm about to leave somewhere with my brother, I say "Shall we go to jail?" from Ace Ventura 2.

Same movie, whenever someone suggests something that I don't want to do I say "Fine, let's do all the things that you want to do!"

Oh yeah, can't forget "Kooky" for when I find something odd.

Share yours! :sly:

I don't use it alot but I would say; 'I'll be back' is probably one of the most common quotes I've ever heard.:)

We use a lot of quotes from The Birdcage.

We most us Agador's quotes because he was the funniest and they never get old.

I have just a few I use fairly regularly:

"You're a daisy if you do." - Tombstone
"I'm your Huckleberry." - Tombstone
"D'ya like dags?" - Snatch
"You little pissant mop." - As Good as it Gets
"Help! Help! I'm being repressed!" - MPatHG
"Don't run away form your feelings!" - Tommy Boy
"I got cat-like speed and reflexes." - Tommy Boy

Among others.

"You can have any beer you like, as long as its a Corona"
"More than you can afford pal" the Fast and the Furious

"All righty then" - Jim Carey (Ace Ventura, right?)

I can't begin to think of all the ones I use... I'll try to catch them as I go.

"And that's the way the cookie crumbles" - Jim Carey (Bruce Almighty)

I always say that when my friends need help with math and they finally understand it :p

I haven't seen that movie. I am missing context here.

- "How About NNNOOOOOOO!!! You crazy Dutch Bastard!" (In a fake Dutch accent of course) - Goldmember "Austin Powers - Goldmember"

No, Mr./Ms./Mrs._______, I expect you to _______. Not sure what Bond movie that's from.
Err...

"Radical!" (as in awesome) - from d2 the mighty ducks

My dad and I use one from Poltergeist quite a lot while chatting.

"I dunno dad" (son)
"He dunno" (father)

 We love that for some reason.

something to do with crack cocaine?

"And that's the way the cookie crumbles" is an old saying. It certainly pre-dates any Jim Carey film.

Yea, in February... I'll exchange whatever I can bring for some Dutch shrooms

"You keep usin' that word, I do not think it means what you think it means"
From the Princess Bride
and

"A man has got to know his limitations" From Magnum Force

Gil
"You keep usin' that word, I do not think it means what you think it means"
From the Princess Bride

Nice one.

I've started using "That's because you haven't thought it through." from Batman Begins quite a bit. Occasionally I go slightly longer than that to drive home the quote.

"We are paying you for that" also from Batman Begins. A surprisingly useful line.

It's not a movie, but I use George Bush's famous line a lot

"Fool me once, shame on.... shame on me?"

I use southpark quotes like mad as well.

"Step 1 - Collect Underpants. Step 2 - I dunno. Step 3 - Profit!"

"I'll do what I waaauunnt"

"You know, I learned something here today. We thought we could make money on the Internet. But, while the Internet is new and exciting for creative people, it hasn't matured as a distribution mechanism to the extent that one should trade real and immediate opportunities for income for the promise of future online revenue. It will be a few years before digital distribution of media on the Internet can be monetized to the extent that necessitates content producers to forego their fair value in more traditional media."

"I'm not your buddy guy!"

the list goes on and on... and on.

"My name is Iñigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die"
(from The Princess Bride)

I keep repeating that when I'm waiting for the light to turn green.

"Obviously you're not a golfer"
(from The Big Lebowski)

I say that whenever someones asks "what the ____ is this/that?"

My main one is...

"I'll buy that for a dollar" - Robocop.

"You can have any beer you want, s'long as it's a Corona"

I use that all the time :)

"Roads? where we're going we don't need.. Roads!"

"Can't Rain all the time...."

"Antiques? what the @~#& do we know about Antiques?" (Insert Topic of conversation instead of 'Antiques')

"I asked you to bring me a refreshing drink!"

"Your best? loosers always whine about doing their best!"

"&%£@ them if they can't take a joke"

"Of course it's difficult, it's a shortcut, If it was easy it would just be 'the way'"

"This mission just got a whole lot more impossibler"

there are millions I use everyday! these are just the first few that spring to mind... bonus points if you get the film ;)

I often say this one to my boys when they haven't done their homework.
"Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son."

This one I use all the time on anybody around me I don't want to be around or talk to.
(Pointing in a direction to make people turn around) "Oh look, a baby wolf!" (Then I makes my escape!)

"Nobody, I mean NOBODY, puts ketchup on a hot dog!"

Directed at some idiot dude causing trouble or being a moron.
"Good morning, sweetheart."

"You talking to me?"

Directed at my wife.
"I'd like to butter your muffin."

"Houston, we have a problem."

"Go ahead, make my day."

"I am serious, and don't call me Shirley."

"FOR-EV-EERRRR! FOR-EV-ERRR!"

"Heeeeeeeerrr's Johnny!"

"I'm funny how? Funny, like a clown? I amuse you?"

This is quite immature... but who doesn't still quote Borat? XD
