hi again all

I for my sins live in the UK in this country we use MPH! and i like MPH just over the water (France and beyond) they use stinking KPH which is pants ! so why oh why is the UK version of GT3 in bloody KPH goddamit !!
If my speedo says 175 MPH they I know i am hussleing !
if my speedo says blah blah blah KPH then i have no idea how quick i am going ...does the US version use MPH or KPH (coz i know u guys use good old MPH over ther)

ahhhhhh feel better fer that other than that GT3 is a god given game and i am hooked (know a good divorce lawyer
??)

When I was a kid, all my teachers used to talk about was how one day we were going to switch over to the metric system. We used it in science classes, but I doubt the roadways will ever change.

ahhh i remember the days of teachers trying to convince us that the government was slowly going to switch the US into the metric system, using the 2 liter bottle as their example! I ahve been out of school for quite sometime, and the 2 liter bottle stands alone pretty much. US will always be MPH.

MPH, Fahrenheit, Pts and al the other scales suck!
In Europe everyone uses KPH except England. And I mean,
the scale isn't as precise as the metric system. So change to the
metric system.

-Sorry, you people from England but this is only my opinion

GT3 is ****ed up when the kph and mph thing comes in.

Ive noticed that the top speeds using the wheelie trick are about 1200mph

i do exactly the same and i run out of room on the test course @ 1190kph. It seems the programmers have been lazy in not changing the speed settings and on Laguna Seca endurance it says 200 miles but when u selete it the scrolling text says 200km. Is that another programmers not being bothered to change important stuff??

I had always hoped that we would switch to Kelvin, so that I could walk around on a freezing day goin "Jeez!!!!! it must be at least 270 degrees today!!"

You should run the test course backwards so it doesn't end, Just turn your car around and run it clockwise.

When you race it is it 200 Miles or 200 Kilometers?

problem is when i ran it it just said 200 on my cars milage thingy but if the games programmers havent changed the games milage/km settings then that would be the same result

and the Escudo on Test Course i went bak 1 1/2 laps and couldnt get past 1190

We use metric in Canada, but got stuck with MPH in GT because of all you 'mericans! :) So I feel for the english guy even though I'm in the opposite situation.

Anyone who thinks the metric system sucks is crazy! How many meters in a kilometer? 1000. Get it? The kilo- means 1000! How many feet in a mile? Who the hell knows... 3162.7? (Don't bother correcting me, I know that's wrong. Just making my point.)

Unfortunately some people regard Europe as one country.

It is not.

England uses miles per hour, and despite the efforts of the EEC, we will continue to use miles per hour.

Thank God it's not in euro
:)

Hopefully GT4 will have an options setting where you can flip from KPH to MPH. Surely it can't be that difficult. Now there's an idea...
