Mt. Panorama (Bathurst) sound problem after update 1.06. Fixed with 1.10 update!!!

I also have this issue occurring in the lobby menu. It seems like it is flickering between 5.1 sourround sound and stereo on my Turtle Beach DSS surround sound processor. I have also noticed that the sound glitches momentarily at exactly the same part of the track each lap when approaching and exiting The Chase. Also audio chat disappears at the top of the hill - bad reception? ;)

Not sure if it could be related but I only have a reported 3 Mb free on my 360gb PS3 Slim. Output is set to 5.1 which is then sent to the digital audio out into my DSS sound processor for headphone use.

It's been suggested I do the following....

"In the game go to (pressing the start button brings up the list) Options / Game Data / Install Game Data. Turn Off Auto-Install Function."

I assume that doesn't actually remove game data. It seems to have worked for a couple of people. I will try it soon.
 
Sorry for the double post but having done some testing I thought some may find this useful.

Turning off the auto install function didn't work. I managed to stop the Mount Panorama audio glitch by setting my in game sound output to stereo rather than 5.1 from within the options menu.
 
This track has still not been fixed, but I have begun running it again as my last track of the night, Just in case I my game freezes.

I tell anyone that has problems with this track to get on the track as quickly as they can.

I have only had trouble when in the lobby, or in the pits.

I always get on the track ASAP, drive out of the pits, and park near pit exit. I have no problems as long as I am parked on the track, or driving.

I use no mics in my room (I host), custom music in menus (in lobby, or in pits), no music at all when on the track.

Me too! Never raced this track online cos of all the trouble I heard about. Had a great 520pp stock car race on it last night with 15 drivers on track, with no issues. Thanks PD.

I too am glad it's fixed! but at the same time I'm not, as none of my tunes work around Bathurst anymore, had to tune from scratch to get them stable.
