-Introduction-​

Welcome to MTTC 2015, a spec race series using 450-550pp road and tuning cars on sports tyres. Drivers will use the same car tuned to the bhp and kg regulations. Cars will be predominantly rwd (for examples of what kind of cars to expect over the year, head to post #2).

Each season consists of four rounds over four weeks, with each round featuring three 20-25 minute races, followed by a two week break. After the break, the next season will begin with a new car and selection of tracks. Season positions score points in the yearly championship, the MTTC 2015 Championship. MTTC 2015 will consist of eight seasons held from January to December 2015.

For season 4 and onward, regular and top placed drivers in MTTC 2015 will vote for the season's car out of a selection of cars. Voting will take place during the preceding season and announced at the last round so drivers have two weeks to practice, tune and earn credits if needed.

-How To Sign Up-​

If you would like to join please post in this thread stating your interest and add your PSN ID if it's not underneath your GTP username. You will be added to the 'Interested' list, and at the start of December the thread will be changed from 'Draft' to 'Open', at which point I will tag everyone in that list and ask for a formal sign-up with your team name and colour choice.

-Tuning Rules-​

No Nitrous
Must be tuned to the specified bhp and kg regulations
Must adhere to the aero regulations
Must not use any banned engine parts
Must use the specified tyre choice
  • Success Ballast - The top 3 positioned drivers in the standings will have a weight penalty for qualifying and the first race of the next round (penalty amount is season specific)

-Race Night Procedure-​

6.30pm - Room open
7.15pm - Spec checks and 10 minute qualifying session
7.30pm - Race 1 (Grid based on qualifying results)
8.00pm - Race 2 (Reversed grid based on Race 1 results)
8.30pm - Race 3 (Reversed grid based on Race 2 results)

- Track Rules-​

The person behind is responsible for making a clean, safe and fair pass
No divebombing
No obsruction in qualifying
Fair and safe pit entry/exit
Two wheels inside the white lines at all times
Mandatory pit stop
No excessive horns
No rage quitting
  • MTTC adheres to the GTP OLR rulebook;

-Lobby Rules-​

Always clear cache before entering
Join the lobby as early as possible
Manual grid may be used if needed
No mics
No chatbox insults
If the host disconnects, please stay in the room and await instruction
If you are disconnected after 15 minutes race distance, half points will be awarded

-Stewarding-​

Stewards TBC
Any problems or incidents should be reported to the stewards via private conversation
No arguments/insults/abuse in the thread
Do not post complaints in thread, all incidents will be dealt with via private conversation
Penalties can be appealed via private conversation
  • AWOL Rule - If you miss two rounds without any contact you will be tagged before the next round. If that round is also missed without any contact, you will be removed from the entrants list and will need to sign up again if you still wish to be a part of the series
-Penalties-

Band 1: 10 seconds
Band 2: 20 seconds
Band 3: 30 seconds
Band 4/No Pit: 60 seconds
Warnings and race bans will be used at the stewards' discretion for driving that is deemed malicious or overly aggressive. Persistent offenders may be removed from the series​
