Round Two
Nürburgring Sectors 1-6

We roll into possibly one of the hardest-to-do levels of the series: The Nürburgring, sectors 1-6. Can you handle Schwedenkreuz at 160 mph, and, if that doesn't get you, how about Bergwerk?

Time Submission:
Send your time via PM to me, including splits and final run.

You may run as often or as little as you like; you've got the full week to perfect your setup and gain the fastest single lap that you can. Please mark it as Week ‘X’ Final Time. :D Try to make it that you don’t resend your times via PM; that can save headache on my part.

Any questions or comments, ask them in the Discussion Thread.

Pictures are welcome! Show the beauties!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍

T6 is your final time...DO NOT POST T6! As Jet stated, only T1 and T3 may be discussed. Please edit your posts Mustang.

I wonder if the Cobra's weight advantage and size will make this easy? Then again, we're down 200hp.

The Nür was a prime testing spot for these cars....all were within about 2 seconds at T6, the lagging player was the Camaro.

Sorry about that, Jet. I completely forgot about the drill competition over the weekend so I couldn't submit a time. My PSP has also been buggy so I may not even be able to submit my time later when I get home (you know so I can check my times). I also missed out on time for the WRS. But this week I have a four day weekend so time should not become a factor. I hope to be far more competitive this week even if it is the notorious Nurburgring.

Welp, off to a decent start. My T1 time looks good, but I need to find a way to get the corvette to enter the sweepers with less brakes. As of now I need to transfer a good sum of weight to the front end to keep from understeering past the track boundaries.

T1: 42.399
T3: 1'43.728

Splits so far

T1= 0'43.745
T3= 1'50.880

Not to far off on T1 of Jets time. But due to a twitchy rear end I lost a bit of time on the rest of the section times.
Best so far. I have been tuning the suspension this week AND I have added the rear wing for downforce. We'll see on this one :sly: 👍

Keep em coming guys.:dopey:

The rumble of an old Vette with some new parts is heard in the little town of Nurburg....

40.797
1'39.715

Crashed after T3, but that's an idea of what I'm getting in my Vette.

EDIT

40.179
1'38.467

And Kenny officially rapes everyone... *scratches head*:nervous:

Holy sh** mate... 👍👍👍👍

Nice to see you pick it up SS,

The 440 R/T takes to the Nurb and instantly feels at home, rough suspension adjustment, a lot more evenly balanced than last weeks setup, a few tweeks and we are off on the first session.

Session Fastest (Clean) Splits

T1 - 41.908
T3 - 1.40.482

Feel pretty happy with that first run, hopefully I can trim a few tenths here and there, seems running in the NRS has paid off :sly:

All 👍

Steve

Good show Steve, put me away!👍 But, I will return. That is a promiss. :trouble:

Damn...that sucks ass... Sorry, mate. :(

New times, and I'm done for the week.

T1: 40.327
T3: 1'40.000
