Museum Cards checklist - print version

Museum Cards checklist - PC version

For those of you collecting or concerned with the Museum cards, here is a checklist you can use to keep track of what you have for trading and what not.

The print version is formatted so that I could get as many on a page as possible when printed out. I just cross out the numbers I have.

The PC version is formatted with all the numbers in one column plus there is a space below the manufacturer that can be used to keep the total number of cards you have for that make. This way if in game, you've got 26 Audi cards, the next time you load up you may have 27 and this is an easy way to help you see what's new.

Thanks 👍

i've found out that changing your time zone on the XMB can land you more than 20 to 30 museum cards and paint chips a day.

Why is it in almost every thread I pop my head into someone has to mention an exploit in one way or another

Why are people cheating even with museum cards?! Sheesh.. Impatient brats.. *shakes head*

Well i only did it once cause i was curious to see if it would work, plus i was ten paints away to get the trophy for it and i had to go to bed cause i had to get up early in the morning for school priorities, it's up to the users if they want to use it or not and doesn't ruin the game like the other exploits.

That's funny so just go in and out of game after you change from GMT to -1:00 what soever then restart game GT5 knows if you have the wrong date time set it gives a prompt that it's set wrong funny this exploit works

read again.

Do you have to be so negative?

Oh, wait...

@gsrjedi: Thanks for the resource! :)👍

I wish I'd thought to check to see if changing the time gave me extra stuff. I suppose I assumed they would have capped the number of such events to one per 24 hour period ("global", server time - you have to be logged in anyway.)

Good job gsrjedi! Thanks. 👍

It would be great a version 2.0, with the text of every card or even an image of every card, like collections of football cards. :sly:

Whats the point of collecting museum cards?
I'm glad you said that. I had no idea why I would want them in the first place.
They don't add up to anything though? They have less use than horns? :dunce:

I still think horns are even more useless than museum cards. But it's a close call.

It's just another quirk PD has put in for the obsessive hoarder in all of us :) I must have hundreds of them now, considering 9-10 a day, I should go look at them.

I wasn't trying to make fun of collecting, I just didn't know if there was a real purpose to it other than just to have them.

@DiabolicalMask: That was pretty funny.

where exactly do you see these museum cards? when I log in, they always tell me I've been given museum cards

where do i go to find them?

The "Museum" icon, bottom left of the My Home / GT Life page. It's a book. 👍

This.

You can trade museum cards?

This.

You can trade museum cards?

Well, you can gift them just the same as any other item in GT5, so technically, yes. I suppose it's like baseball cards and their respective analogues all over the world.

@ kelly350z: No problem :)

Virtual cards, thanks for taking the time to create a checklist, but frankly this is GT5's least useful feature.

How come Honda isn't in the Museum anyway?

The thing is: how can i know what new card i won?? They gave us about 8 to 10 new museum cards daily but to know what card it is, we have to search every day the hole list, brand to brand until discover with card it was. Is there a way we can know this?????

It isn't, that honour would go to the windscreen wiper button, since they turn themselves on and off anyway.

Lots of manufacturers are conspicuous by their absence there. Maybe they'll appear in an update (gotta catch 'em all!) :dopey:

Yeah, this annoyed me too. A simple "new" flag would have helped, or a sort feature like everywhere else...
I've actually given up caring about the cards for now. I might go back and read the many I've amassed, throw duplicates at unsuspecting (and likely ungrateful) people if I get bored again!
