Music-Phone to computer for music.

Hey guys and girls, I have a macbook pro. I was just wondering if there is a way, I can plug my phone into my computer to play the music via the computer.

My good music is on my phone and on my computer there is a lot of random stuff I don't like witch is probably over a few hundred odd songs, So I would rather plug my phone in, instead of going on a deleting spree and trying to transfer songs.

Can you connect it via USB? If yes, then open your music-files in QuickTime via the Finder. Should work, I think. 👍

Why not just create a new folder, 'Good Music' and copy across the stuff from your phone? It just seems odd to me, plugging your phone in every time you want to listen to music.

Yes, that is a great idea, but I have no clue how to do that suscessfully, it probaly is a bit odd but if thats all you now how to do you would do it.

My Macbook pro has a headphone jack like most computers, I think a Aux cord would work, but I don't have a car or money, and my phone does have a headphone jack too,like all phones. Thanks very much for your help though! and when you say this is in the wrong forum. Were should I move it to? I also just brought some phone speakers that have a little clip on them to clip on to your school bags, purses and jeans ect! So that will we great as well when I get them in 14 days!

Yeah, They call it a Aux cable in new zealand.

Same thing really.

If if the phone is like an iphone you wont be able to remove the music as the phone has DRM on it.
