Iv heard people talk about a few cars that are definitely worth having. Iv always dismissed them but after finally buying the mclaren f1 I think I might start listening. So what cars are worthy of actually working (grinding) for? I'm getting ready to buy a LFA so other than the two I have what have I been missing?
 
Shelby cobra 471 (or whatever it is called) Tuned right it is a blast to drive, and you can get some really handsome black wheels for it with some gold writing on the tyres. Just look awesome.
 
Lol that was the first car I grinded for. Iv got three now. One for drifting, one for racing, one for wheelies. I had to get it because I build the kit cars in real life...

Must have cars? Red Bull X2010 S.Vettel, Red Bull X2010 Prototype, Red Bull X2010, Formula Gran Turismo, Ferrari F10, Ferrari F2007, Suzuki ESCUDO Dirt Trial '98, most if not all LMP cars/JSPC cars and classic race cars. :)

Ok I had to see that coming XD right now I'm grinding away for those dang ferraris! If only you could still fast forward b spec I wouldn't have to do this in a spec :(
 
I find The ferrari f40 is a blast to drive, as well as original viper gts. I love the shelby cobra also.

You can trade for a lvl 24 ticket, and duplicate it several times. All you need is PSN.
 
Every garage needs the Mazda 787B. It is not as fast as some of the newer race cars, but it is much more enjoyable to drive for me.

If anyone has a level 24 ticket, what sort of thing are they going to want to trade it for?

(Note to mods, it was something of a rhetorical question - I'll get off to the marketplace right now and look)

To me that's gotta be the RM Corvette. This car basically taught me how to driver high performance, rear-wheel drived cars in GT5. Furthermore, this car's a beast. So fast, so brutal yet forgiving, well handling and just an absolute must have. Love it, dearly :)
 
If the RUF Yellowbird turns up in the UCD you should definately give that a go. I've only seen it once and I'm so glad I bought it. Very hard to drive but so much fun.
Other than the obvious, my other favourites are the TommyKaira ZZII and Suzuki Escudo.

All loads of fun.

I LOVE this car! I used drive with aids on and I knew that if I wanted to get faster times that I would eventually have to turn them off. So then I said to myself, "Self, what car is very tricky to drive WITH the aids on?". Then it dawned on me, the YELLOWBIRD is so difficult to drive. So if I could learn to drive and handle the Yellowbird without the aids, then there is no car that I can't handle.
 
You know what sucks. I think I used my lvl 24 ticket already. When/how do you get it?

Trade for one ( Market place ) and make sure you dupe it ;)

Since its in my ucd right now is the 2000 dodge viper gts r concept with the $999,430 price tag? My experience with vipers so far says no...
 
Zonda R - It's just an awesome looking car that is capable of keeping up with the lmp and group c race cars.

I'm not a fan of Vipers, but the Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca Race Car
is an absolute beast
