Nissan Option Stream + GT- One car +Peugeot 905 Race Car

2D and 2J Chaparral's are also some MUST haves. They come in very very handy when running American Championships.

All you need is PSN.

If it's working for you - most people don't have it working.
Another must-have is the Citroen C4 - one of the best rally cars if tuned right.

I recently did a massive test drive of about 30 cars on Nurbergring just to see how they were (street cars). My favorites are the Ferrari Scuderia, McLaren (non F1, the other one...thought it was much better), and the GT-R Vspec. I found these 3 cars even on sports softs crave to be driven harder and harder. I am also a big fan of the Renault Clio. In terms of race cars, I really like the Peugoet 908, 787B, and RM Corvette. Can't go wrong with the Nissan Super GTs either.

The McLaren F1 corners much faster than the MP4-12C and it has a better top speed. It may be harder to drive because of its oversteer so be easy on the throttle when coming out of corners. It's a must have definitely! It used to be the fastest street legal car and it's the best performing production car in the game in my opinion.

Other must haves I failed to mention earlier include the Ferrari F40 and Jaguar XJ220 (having the XJ220 LM Race Car is nice too).

Mclaren F1
Ferrari Enzo
Ford GT
Ford GT40
Viper ACR
Corvette ZR1 RM
Corvette C6 ZR1
Nissan GT-R
One NASCAR
One Super GT car
Toyota 2000GT
Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
Jaguar XJ13
Ferrari 330 P4
Audi R8 V10
Audi RS6 Avant
Murcielago SV

It's all good. Just a friendly tip.

Must have cars?

2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8

'71 Cuda 440 6 pack

'71 Charger superbee

And I have 3, 6 packs, one super bee and one RKM tuned SRT8

How do you acquire that exactly?

You can get it from a lvl 21 ticket, or buy from the used car lot for 12.1m if it shows up. (took me forever to get it off the ticket, but was worth it)

A must have for me is the '03 Mclaren SLR. So powerful yet so balanced for a heavy FR car. Found it a pleasure to drive on Toscana tracks.

Is it just me or is the R390 Road Car a disapointment. Seems REALLY slow even compaired to other non race cars. Total let down as this was one of my favorites in prev. GT's

It wasn't for me, but then I didn't care for it in past games. I've always liked the track version much more.

Having done a lot of laps in the Lexus IS-F RM I bought another to keep stock(ish).

Fantastic car to drive! It takes a few laps to adjust to the house-in-a-mudslide understeer but it's a great great car!

Shelby cobra 471 (or whatever it is called) Tuned right it is a blast to drive, and you can get some really handsome black wheels for it with some gold writing on the tyres. Just look awesome.

What's a good tune for the Cobra? I fully tuned it (which I know is way off), and it is constantly oversteering and sliding all over the place. I can barely keep it on the road. How can you tune this car so that it's powerful, handles well without spinning out, and is fun to drive?

Help! I love this car and I want to drive it!

In stock form, yes, since for some reason it only has 300-something horsepower, when in real life it has above 550hp. Stick the high rpm turbo on it to bring it up to about 530hp and some sports soft tires and do some suspension and lsd tuning. Transmission should be changed. The stock transmission tops out at about 160 mph(?).

Even then, it's not really amazing. A shame, really.

Back on topic, I would have to say that the premium ARTA garaiya is a really fun car; not particularly fast, but it is quick and nimble.

A lotus evora tuned as closely as possible to the lotus evora type 124 enduro race car (400hp, 1170kg, all aero parts, tranny tuning, racing hards).
It's just a fast car that handles and corners really well.

Really? I've been hearing that its pretty competitive in the GT field.

Also V8S is a must-have IMO. Pretty sound, pretty chassis, pretty competitive in PP racing. Kept up with a touring modified subaru (the black one) at monaco.

You should get these:

All Dodge Vipers(dont forget GTS-R!)

All RM Vehicles

FGT

Peugeot 908/905 Race Cars

Mazda 787B

Any Ferrari

Any Historic Race Car

All the RUFs:tup:

Chapparal 2D and 2J pops up on the UCD at times. About 14 million a pop tho. Alternatively get their birthday ticket. Not sure which year for the birthday ticket and I think there is a thread on it. So far, I have no birthday tix.

For me, the must have cars are R390, Mclaren F1, 458 italia, A4 tour car, Zonda R, Honda Odyssey, GT-R 07, FGT, X1, Minolta 88v. Then again, I am trying to collect everything.

It takes quite long and needs strenuous efforts to have our cash reach the price of each of the Chapparal racing car. I acquired the car with the birthday ticket for the year 1970(which is the year of my dad's birth date) and am sure it's the quickest way to get the car beforehand.

Back on topic, privately I propose you get the following ones listed below.

Street cars:
Ferrari cars except for the 599(sluggish and makes dull turns)
Mclaren F1
Mercedes Benz SLS
Ford GT
Nissan GT-R(R32 through 35)
Subaru Impreza
TVR cars

LMP cars:
Mazda 787B
Jaguar XJR-9
Minolta 88cv
Peugeot 905 and 908
Pescarolo C60 hybrid race car
Sauber Mercedes C9

if you still have margins to purchase other additional cars then the Audi R10 will also be of a good option.

Maybe a NASCAR? I mean it's quite rubbish in the corners but sounds good but also has a good top speed...

Jeff Gordon's car would look good with the suit which will be available to get on monday in the NASCAR special event... just saying 👍

The Integra type-R and NSX type-R are holy!
Havent tried the Civics but they should be good.
