I have my Mustang GT almost completely tuned the way I want it. But it seems to me I cant stop the TCS/ASM indicator from going off until the 4th gear. From 1st to the end of 3rd the light is on. I can't seem to get the torque from the rear to remedy this. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to GTPlanet, L534.

How much horsepower do you have? If you've got the car built up above 400 hp or so, you're just going to have to use lighter throttle.

The limited-slip diff won't stop your back wheels from spinning. It will just prevent the car from lighting up the tire with least traction. If you have too much power, it will just overwhelm both.

You will get a little wheel spin while cornering regardless. The LSD will effect your corner entry and exit style, not so much "control" wheel spin. If you prefer loose entry and a strong exit, a start setting of 20/40/15 works well in the Mustang, that is where I have mine I believe. It allows for hot entry with trial breaking and hard acceleration on exit. If you like a stable slow entry and a neutral exit 20/40/20 is fair. The increase in initial torque will engage the LSD quicker. Hope this makes sense and helps.

Thanks a lot everyone. I will try these suggestions when I play again.

Duke - Thank you. My Mustang at the moments has about 657 I believe. It sounds reasonable that the HP is the cause. But my evo VIII 03 has about 550 and i have no problems with traction. Is it because the lancer is 4WD?

nhizzat - My downforce really wont help me in the first couple of gears.

ExigeExcel - I havent thought about the ballast. Probably because I wasn't so sure on how to use it. But i'll look into it.

JParker - Thanks a lot man. That looks like it will really help. But I get wheelspin in a straightaway aswell. Just until after the 4th gear. I don't even drive the car because of how annoying hearing the tires screech the WHOLE first 3 gears. But I will def take your suggestions.

Thanks a lot guys.
