That thing can be one huge beast if you want it to be. But I'd prefer you to keep it within reason. Your gas mileage will be bad enough stock...adding performance upgrades will be brutal.

Agreed. I'd stick with cutting some weight out of that behemoth if you want to add some performance. That, and your wallet will thank you.;)

I like those, they'd make a great first car. They are comfy, reliable and can be made fast thanks to that lovely Ford 302 V8. :D

Shame it can't outrun the ugly rear end....But, at least he doesn't have to look anywhere near it while driving.

I can only admit I really know nothing about it except I don't like the rear, and that it's capable of putting down some power with only a few modifications.

Other than that, I really don't care for late 80's American cars. There's a few that spark my interests, but in general, none. :indiff:
 
I'm pretty pissed now. I drove the car today. Besides a few interior loose things and the AC needing a charge, it was perfect for me. We stopped at the insurance office on the way home, got a quote, and I preceeded to come home mad as all hell. The lack of airbags drove the insurance higher than a 1990 Mustang GT
 
I don't really agree with the reasoning my dad has, seeing as it's a whopping 100 dollars more than the 1990+ 5 point oh's. But that's still sitting at 4221 with the Stang, 4320 with the Mark VII. That's my parents and me and the 3 cars
 
That was the wrong quote. Without the bags the Mark brings our total insurance to 4650

That sucks, I know how that feels. I was going to by a Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 ex police car with the LT-1 with a swapped T-56 6 speed......I wish I picked that up instead of my current car.

1994 Ford Mustang 5.0 - $2200 (Sarasota)


For sale is my 1994 Ford Mustang 5.0. It has the 5 speed manual with a new clutch as of Feb. 08'. Stock, with the exception of Flowmaster exhaust. Car has 153,000 miles. Drives well with no known mechanical problems. Shifts smoothly with no grinding or catching. Exterior is in fair condition, no dents or damage, just some chips and scratches. Interior is is fair condition. Worn, but otherwise in good shape. Needs a new cd player(or just the faceplate). Tires are in great shape, and have plenty of tread left. New battery as of May/08. Ive tried to describe it as best as i can, feel free to email with any questions. thanks

I'm just awaiting the seller to email me back his address. If my dad likes it he'll loan me the 300 I don't have. And the guy will let it go for 1800
 
It's not.

For one, it's too old, for another it's not a Cobra.

However the IRS is a direct fit for any 1979-2004 Mustang.

glad to see I'm not the only one that liked the 94 design. pounce on it. that is mega bargan. beware of electrical problems, though.

Rotary: Old is in the eye of the beholder, especially to someone who's never had anything newer than a 92! (with eighties designing, no less) and it doesn't HAVE to be a "cobra"...that'll save some major insurance moolah not being a performace jobbie.
 
It's not old. It's just too old to have IRS. Also, it DOES have to be a Cobra (1999+ only) to have IRS.

The car itself I see no issue with, I was just pointing out to Leo that it's not an IRS car.
 
Someone could of easily swapped in that suspension. Or the owner before the one selling it could of. Never know until you look. :D
 
There are several Foxbody owners around here that do that to "otherwise stock GT's". Either way $1800 is a steal for this car.
 
Goin on Sunday, between 1 and 2. The car is all stock save for a flowmaster exhaust. I don't he just means the mufflers or if he repaced all the pipes too
 
Sorry I never updated this! The '94 Mustang GT had some engine knock I wasn't comfortable with. It started pinging pretty loudly under heavy loads above 2,000 RPM. I wasn't comfortable with that, so I passed on it

All it says it needs are motor mounts. How expensive are those (with labor) to replace? I know the mounts themselves are like 30 bucks each
